Hi everyone and i am so happy that you stopped by for the hop today. Today i
am sharing a few cards i did for my mom and friends for Valentines. It's about
that time of year and it seems that i always get behind so here are just a few that i did.
This is a card for my mom. I don't do them often enough and she has been under the
weather a little bit lately so i am going to send a nice note and drop this one by today
for her. The papers are from Maja Designs and the dies i used are from Spellbinders.
I used flowers that i got online and the letters i even did with a die. It was nice to do
them in any color i wanted and it's amazing because you don't have to worry about
vowels. And that i really, really love.....
And since it's Valentine's time i also wanted to share a wall plaque that i did for our house with
a few Spellbinders dies and some wooden letters that i picked up at Hobby Lobby. I love to paint
and this was a quick and easy fun project to do... The paint is from Americana in a chalk style.
I love it because it gives it a more old unfinished look but you could still seal it with a clear
varnish if you wanted to make it shinier. Sanding it always makes it look good too.
Here is the list of designers this month for you to hop to. There are lots of fun things
that we all did to share so be sure and grab a cup of something and check all of them out.
