Merry Christmas to you

Today i have a quick and easy card for you all to make for Christmas this year.  Seems like for me it never fails that i have good intentions of making something wonderful to send out but then i run out of time---- and well that's not a good thing.  So for my card today it really takes no time at all to make and the beauty in it is from the die made especially for us by Becca Feeken and Spellbinders.   The gorgeous snowflake and gold papers bring out the details in the die.  I found some small gold adhesive pearls and added those around the inside edge to really make it lavish.

This die set comes with this fabulous holly border all around it and then it also has this beautiful frame that has a small ribbon border running all around it.  And the Merry Christmas phrase also comes with the set and it cuts perfectly.  Add a pretty bow and rhinestone and it's ready to address, add a message and send off in the mail.  It makes Christmas that much more special.

Be sure and stop by the Spellbinders website to pick up a set and if you are in the
UK area you can order one from "Hope and Chances Online store".

Thank you so much for stopping by today... and have a fabulous weekend!!

Six Ways to Use the Charming Cottage Year-Round Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to our Cottage Hop today with one of the new dies from the Charming Christmas Collection from Becca Feeken.  All of us had such fun with this die set and we found it is so versatile there are so many things that you can do with it.  The ideas are endless as you will see as you hop and the Cottages are so easy to make you are going to want to do some for all your parties and gift giving this year.

My first cottage i did as a traditional Gingerbread Cottage and i created this like you would a cookie house in tan and ivory.  Then i mixed in a bit of red for the doors and windows and added a small green bow and a few little swirls above the door and windows just like you would add the icing on a real gingerbread house.  These are a fun family tradition in our house to make for Christmas and this will be fun to give to everyone to take home filled with treats i make :)

Here is the die set so that you can see all the adorable pieces in the set that you have to use.
The Charming cottage die is available on the Spellbinders website and here is the link to it.

UK crafters can purchase it at https://hopeandchances.co.uk and although it has sold out, their stock is expected to come in soon and you can pre-order to make sure you get one.

And my second cottage is one of my favorites because of all the cute snowmen on it.  Bordered papers are great to use for these and you can mat the edges to make them pop and of course cut out cute tags from all the ones in the set to use them for gifts.

And graduations are always a good idea for little gift boxes.  Everyone has parties to celebrate their kids amazing accomplishments and this one was super easy with a 6x6 pad and stickers from Doodlebug Design.  I even added extra bling to really make it bright and festive.

And lastly i did a Halloween box in orange card and after you find out how easy these are to make you are going to love doing them for every occasion like us and this will be your next go to die!!

Tis the Season Christmas card to share

It's time again for another idea for your Christmas cards this year from Becca Feeken's newest set of Christmas dies.  This one is an ornament tag die and there are lots of interchangeable pieces in it so you can get lots of different looks from one set. For my ornament i cut out the bottom piece and then added another one of the pieces to the top to make it really ornate.  The papers are a luscious pink shade of champagne copper from Kaisercraft and all the papers match it perfectly in the set.  It's something fun and different and i know the perfect someone for this card this year.

All the charms are super cute for this set... I really love the mitten and the reindeer!

And of course always get out all your other Becca Feeken dies when you are creating because they mix so well.  I used my "Hemstitch Squares" dies to create a nice frame with my ornament and one of the snowflakes from the newest set of A Charming Christmas dies to finish the top with the ribbon.  And all of it is just layered with lots of pretty holiday papers glistening just like a special card for a special someone should be.

Thanks so very much for taking the time to stop over and see you this Wed
for a fun hop with all of our team sharing lots of brand new ideas with the new

Happy Holidays Card to share

Happy Saturday to you all--- it's time again to share another new card for your holiday craft projects for this year.  This week i picked another die from Becca Feeken's newest Christmas Collection called "Sentimental Christmas stamp and die set". This set comes with a delicate frame and shadow die to add to any kind of project you can imagine, three beautiful sentiment stamps and a cute little charm.   I used some gorgeous papers in gold and ivory to make a fun and glistening holiday card.

To make my card I started with a printed paper with glistening lights on it and then i added layers of gold foiled paper and glitter card stock to make it look festive. Then i cut 2 small strips of gold paper to put under my sentiment i stamped and to keep it from floating.  The delicate golden frame only makes the rest of the card more elegant and the ribbons and golden bow with the holly tag finishes it perfectly.

These are super easy to make for everyone on your list this year or maybe just to those favorite people that you really want to do something special for.  And this set has an adorable little charm with holly leaves that will make any card you do that much more special.

Hope you like my card and to see the rest of the new christmas dies click here

Have a wonderful weekend.... Teresaa

Tis the Season

Hi and welcome to my blog today..  I have another fun card to share with you that i did with the brand new Spellbinders "Charming Christmas collection" from Becca Feeken called "Charming Tag Pocket".  I chose this one to share because you can use it lots of different ways since there are so many gorgeous pieces in the set.  I made a card and added the pocket on the front in vellum with a little lace so that it would be very vintage looking.  I also used vintage prints in traditional christmas colors and my favorite foiled papers from Ruby Rock-it.

My favorite part of this die set is the pretty inserts that you can use.  There are 3 in the set and each of them have such beautiful designs.  For mine i used the red foil to add to the front of the pocket and this way it really makes the prints pop and the extra poinsettias are perfect too.

Here is a picture of the dies so you can see all that it has and this charm for this set is a cute stocking!
How cute to make a mini mantle card and add lots of these across the front with names on them.

To finish my card i added a sweet little bow in ivory silk mixed with some Xmas red twine and then added a few tiny poinsettia's to make the red pop.  The stamp i used on the tag is from our new stamps called "Charming Tag Sentiments Stamps".  It was hard to chose since there are so many cute ones to pick from.

With all these gorgeous dies to use it's going to be a really fun Christmas this year

Happy Crafting to all of you

Hugs and Smiles..... Teresa
