Just a sweet thank you card

Hi and happy Tuesday to all of you.  For my card today i wanted to create something that was really simple to do with just basic papers and flowers.  And i picked this die set because using solid paper really helped to make all the details stand out when i embossed it all.  It was so fun to cut and layer lots of pieces on it... and they all mixed together wonderfully.  I hope with all of our ideas each week you are trying to mix all your dies to make new creations too.

To make my card I used Becca Feeken's Victorian Crest Die Set for my base in both kraft and pink. Then I added the die cut from the Hannah Elise layering frame in the center of it all and one of those adorable tags from the Tiny Tags Stamp and Die set under the flowers to add a quick and simple sentiment.

And to finish it I added some liquid pearls to all those beautiful little flowers and other intricate swirls that were just calling for me to fancy them up.  It was super quick and you could easily change the sentiment to one of the others in the stamp set for a different occasion.  And colors too.  Get out all those scraps and get a few cards made up to send quick....it always makes for a relaxing afternoon.

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure and stop over at Becca's Blog to see what all the design team is sharing this week.  There are lots of new ideas and we have a new team member too!!

Happy Tuesday..... Teresa

Faith is simple confidence card

It's Monday and time to share another sweet card that i created with Becca Feeken's newest die set called "Chantilly Paper Lace".  One of my favorite new sets of dies was created to interchange inside of the Bella Rose lattice layering dies. It will give you lots more options to create different designs and since it had adorable hearts in it i thought it would be perfect to use.

I kept the color scheme simple with just a soft pink cardstock over white and used one of my favorite stamps for the top layer.  This way i can set it out to remind when times are tough in my life.

Be sure and check all the other Amazing Paper Grace Design team members blogs this week for more incredible ideas to use the new dies.  Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Just a little love note

Hi and welcome to my blog this wonderful Monday morning.  Today i have a pretty card to share starting off my obsession this month with Valentines cards.  I love all the pretty shades of pink in cardstock you can use and lots of hearts so this is a favorite holiday of mine.  And you don't have to use lots of hearts on the card, sometimes the sentiment will tell the story for you.

For my card today i had fun layering 3 dies in coordinating pinks all from Becca Feeken's new dies and since there wasn't any space on the final die on top to add the sentiment i just stamped it on vellum in black ink and made a band to fit around and over the center.  This way you can still see all the gorgeous details from the dies.  And don't forget to add 3D Foam squares between some of the layers to show off those pretty details in the dies too!!

And to finish my card and to add just a touch more detail i matted it on a rectangle from Hemstitch Ovals and added a few tiny white pearls just enough to make it more feminine.  I really love this card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today...   Teresa

Wishing you Love and Laughter

Happy New and how wonderful it is to be starting a brand new year full of new exciting adventures.  This year i am wishing for good health and happiness in my life and lots of fun filled days with my family and friends.  And.... of course create lots of beautiful things to share with all the fun crafty things i get this year!

Today i am sharing a classic card made with one of my favorite new lacy corner dies from Becca Feeken called "Eliza Lace Corners" Etched die.  You get 2 of the dies in each set so you can emboss or cut the die out to create lots of beautiful projects.  I used just a subtle white paper on taupe for my card and to make the dies stand out just a little bit more i rubbed a white chalk ink pad over those beautiful etched lacy corners to make them pop.  It's subtle but makes all the white look really clean and gorgeous.

The center die is one of my favorite go to dies from Spellbinders called Standard Circles large.  It fit perfectly in the center of my square card and the Penny Black stamp popped nicely in brown ink.

And that's my share for today and don't forget to stop over to Becca's blog today too and all the rest of our team to see what new things they have for you for this brand new year!

Happy, Happy New Year to you all :)
Teresa
