Mr and Mrs Wedding Card

Hi friends and it's so nice that you came and dropped by for another idea using Becca's new Mini Book dies this week.   My wedding card that i am sharing today was fun and really easy to make and I actually only used one of the new dies for it and another that i had in my stash that is a favorite.

This new die is called "Double Halo Oval Etched Die"  and is soon becoming one of my favorites simply because of the oval shape and the gorgeous details that it has on it.  You can each layer by themselves or create something together.   I love that you can stamp inside of it really easy and it's also great for making cards to layer fussy cut images or ephemera bits that you might have laying around in your paper stash.  Those are my favorites and it's nice to make up alot of cards and keep them in a box handy to give out when you need them. Guess i better get started for the new year!!

A couple of weeks ago I went to a new scrapbook store (Frank Garcia's Studio) close to where i live and found some brand new papers to have a go with and really had some fun.  There is lots of things that you can fussy cut with this line by Karola so i kept the base simple and used the large oval over a large Hemstitch Oval vellum piece and then layered the flowers and other pretty little bits on top.

I guess i can't say enough about all these dies and hope that you had the chance to see all of them on our hop this last week and if not you can check them all out here <<<<

Guess i better go and get crafty on some more new inspiration for you,
Have a wonderful crafty day--- Teresa

Just Married Wedding Mini Album

Hi everyone and happy Sunday to all of you.  I hope you had the chance to hop with us this last week and for the weeks ahead we will be sharing more Amazing Paper Grace inspiration with these beautiful new dies that Becca designed from all of our APG team.

Today i have another mini album to share with you that is really quick and easy to make and you can have as many pages as you want since it is a tag album.

For all my pages of my album i used this new Grand Crested Tower die!

I cut 6 panels of the die with the backround and glued them all together and then i added lots of pictures and fun little bits from the paper line that i used.

For the punched area at the top i reinforced it with a piece from one of the other dies so that it would be more stable.  And on the back of each of them i created a small pocket that i can add more pictures and also my journaling.  This was super easy to create and would be a great wedding gift !!

I also used this die on the front to mix in.  I used the heart side and then fussy cut the wedding cake piece to pop up over it.  I so love the beautiful details in this.

And here you can see all the pages layed out for you.  Each of them looks just slightly different because i used a different paper for each of them that went with the picture i used.

And lastly here you can see on the left the little pocket pages that i made.  There were so many wonderful memories of that special day and since i do alot of Ancestry i want to make sure i share it so that 100 years from now they know the story too.  I just love what i do :)

Thank you so much and be sure and stop back for alot more ideas using these dies.  You are going to love these and if you make cards.... they are also just as amazing to work with :)

Hugs and Smiles----- Teresa

Introducing 3D Vignette Mini-Albums

3D Vignettes were introduced almost 2 years ago and along the journey, our readers have begged us not to abandon the concept but to keep adding on.  As always, your wish is our command!  Introducing 3D Vignette Mini-Albums.   When the first 3D Vignettes came out, we fashioned them into mini albums using the familiar side piece and slots but now we've made it permanent with a Universal Hinge.  Plus we've added a whole collection of dies you can use inside the mini-album including two new shaped card profiles and a new Cinch and Go Cottage Bloom Flower that can be used as a dimensional flower or a flat flower inside the mini-album.  Stay tuned as you see a mini-album from each Creative Team Member and card that highlights one of the dies used in the mini-album.

About 3D-Vignette Mini Albums

When the response to the first 3D Vignette cards turned into mini albums blog hop brought such a positive response, readers asked for more.  Becca designed an easy to fold Universal Hinge that makes it easy to convert your 3D Vignette cards into  Mini Albums.  Staying true to her mix and match budget sensibility, of course, all of the elements of this new collection can be used to make flat cards, can be used with original 3D Vignette designs, and older 3D Vignette dies can be refreshed and used with the mini-albums.

Best of all, if you have ever been too overwhelmed to create a mini-album or a scrapbook page, take heart.  Since your choices are mix and match, we've taken all of the guess work out.  The small format is card-sized which makes it do-able for those of you accustomed to working on a small card size project.  We've made albums that are tiny up to 6 x 6" and 8 x 8.

My Projects For Today

Here is what a few of the dies that i have highlighted in my mini-album actually look like.

For my project today I made a 6x6 mini fold out "Ancestry themed" album.  I used heavy card stock to create a base for my book and then added layers in it that can fold out and have flaps to add more pictures.  This was such a fun project to make with these dies and I had so much fun adding all of them to all of my pages.  I can't say enough good things about these dies.

As you can see in this picture above i also added the universal spine and added a few pages made from the Grand Vaulted Cabinet.  You can also use the smaller pieces in the other sets from this new collection for decorative accents on the pages.

And here i just used the decorative spine piece to make one of those accents much like you could do with a card front.  It adds that perfect bit of decoration to the piece.

And for this center page on the left i did a larger flip page using the Double Halo Oval for a frame for my picture and on the front of the lower flap i used the Woven Trellis Border to decorate it.

This is a good shot to show all the things going on in this book.  Each of the flaps folds in on each other to close and keep all the memories of my family in a safe place.

In addition, I've made a card using the same die I used in my mini album.  For my card i used one of the gorgeous spine dies to create a textured back round for my card by cutting 3 of them and gluing them on the base that is also pale pink.

As you can see above the delicate design adds such a beautiful texture to the card and just by adding a vintage handmade rose to match it all goes together so well.

For my flower i used the Cinch and Go Vintage Rose die and added some extra leaves and stamens to match.  I also used a tiny matching silk ribbon to give it a corsage kind of look.  I so love this card ! Well that's all for my share but be sure and hop to all the other girls to see how they used their dies.
I know you are just going to love this hop!!

Amazing Paper Grace January Die of the Month Blog Hop

Who doesn't smile when they get flowers.  Today we're giving you a way to present a bouquet to whomever your heart desires.  The January Die of the Month is a Pop Up 3D Vignette Bouquet.  It's one of those show stopper pieces that folds down flat to fit into an envelope but it's right at home living on a desk.

Even if 3D is not your thing, these beauties can also be used on flat cards and just in time for Valentine's Day.  A bouquet of flowers or a bouquet of hearts - what's your sweetheart getting this year?   Your panel can be decorative, textured or simply a sentiment.

Today I used my dies with some new Valentine papers to create this fun whimsical card to give away.  The patterned papers worked really well with it and the bouquet came out so pretty with the flowers and the roses mixed together.  There are so many ways you can use this die and you will see today just how fun it is.

My Project Today:

Here is a closer look of my card.  I thought it would be fun to do a card where the beautiful bouquet is centered on the card but with a bit of a twist.  So i folded the card but then cut out about 2 1/2 inches out of the center and added printed papers to cover both the top and bottom pieces.  To keep the bouquet solid i cut a piece of clear acetate to go between the two front pieces on the back side and then glued on my white basket piece on the front in the center.

The flowers i created by cutting 1 med. green, 1 pink and 1 smaller pink flower that you get in the set and after gently folding them with tweezers and gluing them together-- i added the matching smaller roses to the centers of each.  You also get another die in this set that has 3 pink hearts so i cut the larger size and filled in the spaces between the flowers with them.  It looks really cute!  And of course the sentiment sticker comes in the paper collection set and i added that with 3 D foam dots so that it would stand out a bit under the flowers.

A Special Wish Card

Happy New year everyone and I am hoping that all of you are ready for a brand new amazing year with lots of inspiration using Becca's 2020 dies and maybe a few other fun things i can share with you.

Today i made a card using a few of the dies from our Candlewick Collection and did a bunch of layers with them.  The top new gorgeous die is called Candlewick Canopy and has 2 pieces in the set.  I cut and embossed them in a subtle gold paper and added the smaller pieces in the set on the sides to make it more square and cover the band i used under it.

As you can see i also used the Candlewick Square die, Candlewick circle die and also mixed in one of my favorites the Hemstitch Circle die set.  I love all the new basics that Becca designed and love that they are so good to use with all the dies.  And of course they are great for stamping which i might start back in with this year seeing all the gorgeous stamps out there.

And here is a glimpse of the die set and another cute idea for you from the packaging.  Guess its going to be another year of so many neat things to make and so little time.

And we have a new guest designer this month and one of my favorites from Graphic 45.  You all know her as the amazing Gloria Stengel.... all this month she will be sharing her talents using Becca's dies so be sure and pop over to her BLOG when you get a chance to see her ideas.  You will love them.

Thank you so much for stopping over and be sure and check back on the 12th for a Blog Hop with a Brand New Collection from Becca for making mini books.  You are going to love these dies !!

Hugs and Smiles,
Teresa
