Lilly Pearl flowers and lace

I am so happy that you stopped by today because i have a really beautiful and easy flower to make with a new die from Becca's Chantilly Paper Lace dies called Lilly Pearl flatfold flower.  These flowers are made just by die cutting the borders and folding along the lines and glueing them together.  I also used the "Breanna's Corset Label die" to attach the flowers on as a base, and then the "Hemstitch Rectangles die set" from the Venise Lace Collection to frame the whole thing.

It's amazing how wonderful all these dies mix together but then that is how amazing Becca Feeken is when she designs them.  I adore the detail on this flower die and used just a touch of chalk in to darken the paper on the edges and make the designs stand out more to see.  The stamp i used is from Penny Black and fit oh so perfectly on the new Label die.

And here is a closeup of the flowers so that you could see them.  They are really fun to make!

And that's all for my share today with you and hope you day is a really fun crafty one.

Chantilly Paper Lace with Tallulah Frill

Good Morning and thank you so much for stopping by.  Today i have a very fancy and very victorian card set that i created for a friend of mine for her birthday.  I used a brand new Spellbinders Chantilly Paper Lace die for this one called "Tallulah Frill" and wow is it ever the prettiest die set.  I started with the card only but then thought i would see how the die set fits on our box and well ... it does!!

The card i made so that the outside design will be more like lace and didn't mat it on a base card.  I then cut the center in white and the tiniest die in the set i cut and put one on both the top and the bottom to frame it a little more.  And i stamped it in a beautiful navy ink to bring out the blues.

And for my box i really had fun.  I used the basic "Mini card/ booklet gift box" set to make the box and then i layered on the Chantilly Paper Lace "Tallulah Frill layering frame die set with the new "Eliza Lace Corners" on the top under the flowers and on the sides over the blue.  It gave it that special over the top lacy victorian look i wanted and i am sure my friend is going to like it and the gift i have to put inside for her.

All the Chantilly Paper lace dies are so pretty and elegant and so fun to use for all of us so be sure and stop back in the weeks ahead for more inspiration from our design team and of course Becca Feeken herself :)  Wow, what a treat that is for each week for all of us....

Have a really wonderful day and have fun crafting :_

Blog Hop with Quietfire Design and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Hi everyone-- it's day 3 of our Blog Hop and giveaway with Quietfire Design/ Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  It's my turn today to share one of my favorite new stamps with Quietfire called "May we all walk".  And it's from a brand new set called "A Bit of Fragrance".  With all the things going on the world today I think this is a perfect sentiment to share with everyone.

For my card i went with a simple layering technique overlapping different colors and layers of dies that coordinated with my flowers and the stamp that i picked.  I used lots of 3D Foam Squares to divide the layers and attach the flowers and a few small adhesive Dodz to attach the ribbon.  And of course to glue all the layers together i used my favorite EZ Runner Permanent Strip tape runner that i couldn't live without.  It's my absolute favorite.

And here is a closeup of the stamp and all the pretty layers i did with the foam squares.

There are lots of prizes too so be sure and hop on over to the Quietfire Blog and the Scrapbook Adhesives by3L blog today to see more ideas with all the new collections  and get in for a chance to win.....

Chantilly Lace introduces Hannah Elise

I have another card to share today that i did using another one of my favorite dies from the new Chantilly Lace collection from Becca Feeken and Spellbinders.  This beautiful die is called "Shapeabilities Hannah Elise".  It's such a gorgeous die set and has such beautiful pieces in it and i paired it with my favorite Hemstitch Rectangles, Cinch and Go Flowers Two and Isadora Trinkets.

The yummy pink printed papers are from Maja Design and that too is one of my favorite companies to pair these gorgeous dies with.  And the flowers were really easy and fun to make and since i die cut them from the same papers they matched perfectly.  I am going to have to give this to someone really special.... I really like how this card came out.

Introducing the Chantilly Paper Lace Collection Blog Hop

Welcome sweet friends, today we are introducing a new die collection by Becca Feeken for Spellbinders called Chantilly Paper Lace - you can take a quick peek of the entire collection-> HERE.

Have you ever rummaged around in your grandmothers attic, through memories of the past to find sweet letters and cards romantically tucked away for safe keeping while preserving sweet acquaintances and conversations of the past?  Letters adorned with the finest decorations, now tattered and ripened with age, impress what an honor it was to receive these treasures.  Becca reached into the past to restore some of these treasures, preserving the fine detail, the elegance and the pure femininity into modern day romantic die cuts that are at home on any card.  The collection is reminiscent of petticoats, fine lace and adornments and are designed so that each die works with the other.  In fact, the card front dies are designed so that they can be used alone or two can be layered over each other.  Join us as each Creative Team member shares their creations with two dies from the collection.

We are listing all of the creative team so that you don't miss a beat but don't forget, each of us will be giving away an Amazing Paper Grace die pulled from the comments - one from each blog and hint-hint you'll want to make sure you leave a comment on the Spellbinders Blog too.  The prize details are at the bottom of my post.  So, without further ado let me talk about the dies I get to introduce:

When i saw this collection of dies i was so excited to create lots of vintage styled cards that i so love to do.  For my card i am sharing i used simple but rich colors of fresh crisp linen and kraft and layered the dies to create a sweet and thoughtful Thank you card for a dear friend.  This die has so much incredible detail i had to create a shadow so that you wouldn't miss but a one.

My favorite part of this die was the ease of how the paper popped out of it with all that amazing detail in it.  This has so many fun parts in the set I can see lots of other layered cards with the rest of the collection in the weeks to come.  It's really gorgeous!!

The hemstitch oval is also one of my favorite dies and will surely be in with my go to's for everyday projects.  For this card i only used the largest die and stamped my image and then layered it over a pretty vintage floral paper from Prima.  This card reminds me so much of a country cottage or farmhouse and i really love how this one came out.

With the Hemstitch Oval die you get 3 sizes of ovals in the set and with the hemstitch design you can use or not use it so that is a real plus. Creating beautiful projects will be so easy.  And this would be a wonderful die to pick up to layer on some of the other new dies in the Chantilly Paper Lace Collection.

But wait--- i have one more to share :)

And because it was so easy to use i had time to create another style of card using the same die but using it as a frame to add my Christmas trees and holly that i fussy cut from the paper.  I found these pretty papers in my stash while cleaning and thought how fun to make a pretty holiday card using the set.  I used 2 frames and the hemstitch design and cut this pretty glitter paper from Ruby Rock-it.  It cuts like a dream and i can see lots more projects in my future for this one too.

I just love that pretty hemstitch design in the dies and it gives it such a beautiful detail to my project but not too overwhelming to add other things into the mix.

And now its time to share about the prizes and where you can get the new dies!

Celebrate your day

It's a gorgeous Monday and i hope you all had a great weekend and maybe got in a little fall crafting for yourselves.  Today i have a fun share using a super cute APG die from Spellbinders.  This one is a mate to the girls shoe i used last week called "Gents shoe" and i thought i would go a little bit more everyday instead of wedding and do a Birthday card and a smart looking gift box with the multi loop bow die to match.  Most guys wear lots of plaid so i used that for my starting inspiration and then added some fun colors to match from the Simple Stories paper set that i had in my stash for all the other pieces.

The shoes were super easy to make and after rummaging around a little bit,  i found some blue floss in my stash to tie them with.  To make my way too cute shoes pop more i rested them on a piece of orange paper that i cut from the Hemstitch Rectangles die set and then also cut an ivory piece to stamp on my "Celebrate" sentiment on.  This is from a super cute Happy Birthday set from Quietfire Design and has lots of other adorable Birthday sentiments you can use for everyday cards and such.

And if you haven't picked up the Multi Loop Bow die you really need to grab one before they are gone.  I love this die because i can make cute bows out of anything i have to match my projects and they are super easy to do.  I made 4 loops of each of the 3 sizes for my bow and then cut a few of the ribbon ties for the base.  It went to together in all of about 10 mins so that is really nice!!

Thank you so much for stopping over today and be sure and leave a comment so i can stop over and visit you too :)

Supply List:

Paper: Simple Stories Rad 6x6 paper pad
Inks: Archival Ink in Sepia, Versa Magic Chalk ink in Gingerbread

Thank you for stopping over and have a really wonderful week!!

Bridesmaids Gift ensemble

Hi and welcome to my blog today.... this week i had the pleasure of designing with a  fun wedding die called the "Ladies shoe".  And since i just got a brand new paper pad from Prima, both of them inspired me to create this pretty wedding bag for a bride or bridesmaid.  The shoes done in the roses reminds me of those pretty robes that all the brides are giving as gifts so i thought this would be a fun gift bag and card to make for it.  I loved that the papers were smaller prints since it was a 6x6 pad and i was really happy how all of it went together.

Here is a closeup of the tiny card to put inside my bag.  My favorite part of this die is the tiny little bows that you can make for the top of each of the shoes... they are so adorable.

And of course the colors are so pretty.  It's the prettiest robin's egg blue with subtle grey and tan and it really makes this ensemble soft and feminine and a gorgeous gift to make for someone.

I am so glad you stopped over this week to see what is new with the APG team.  Be sure and stop by all the other girls blogs this week on Tuesday to and see what new ideas they have to share.
