Thank you card...

I have had so many things to make this week for classes my
week has really went by quicker than normal.  Lots and lots
of things for DT projects and lots of classes coming up.

So today is just a quick post of a Thank you card I made
with some kraft paper that I had and I used one of the
Spellbinders blossom dies to stamp my little critters from LOTV
with.  The really pretty border edge at the bottom is another
of my favorite dies from the last release called Scalloped Borders Two.
I love them because there are 6 pieces in the set so you can really
mix them up to make some great projects and cards with.

I just used chalks and colored pencils for the pup and the bunny
and I used some flowers and wooden leaves from Prima that I just
got recently.  The thank you stamp is from Fun Stampers Journey
stamps... that is a great set too because it has lots of little
tiny sentiments in the set for pretty much anything you do.

So that's it for today but I have some fun things to share Sat
that I think you will really have fun with!

Have a great day,  Teresa

New LOTV came in my mailbox...

Lily of the Valley stamps had the most adorable release a
couple of weeks ago of little bears and girls and lots of fun
Christmas stamps so you know i had to order a few.
They have some new colored image packs that I picked up and
these are great for when you are in a pinch and need something fast!

Today I am sharing 2 cards that I made last night and I
really had fun with the layers of dies and lace and lots
of flowers that I had in my stash.  And pinks.. lots of pinks!

My first card is this adorable little girl that had the
best day shopping.  This was inspired by my wonderful
friend on our SB team who lives in London named Christine.
I love big hats and pretty lacy things and I love how everything is
lovely there.  The LOTV sentiment went just perfect.
(Can't wait to visit someday Christine and have tea :)
For this card I used Basic Grey Kissing booth papers and
and I embossed the center with a butterfly folder called
Garden delight and was the perfect touch of texture for it.

And my next card today is a Birthday card for my DD.
I love the little girl getting all dressed up for her big day
and so reminds me of my daughter when she was little.
I used Gold Labels Four on her and also made a red
piece out of Labels 29 for the back to make the reds pop.
The flowers are from Prima and the pearls are these super
tiny ones that are becoming my very favorite to use from
Want2Scrap. The flourish is a Die D-Lite and is called
Fantastic Flourish and I cut it up and tucked it in with the
ribbons and the bows on both of them.

So that is all for today and I'll be making
lots more things from the goodies I got... I even got a few
new baby stamps too with adorable little bears on them :)

Hope you all have a really great weekend.

Happy Anniversary with LOTV

I had a really relaxing weekend and had some me time
so I created a few cards with some of the
fun stamps I got from LOTV and Quietfire Designs.

Today I am sharing a card that i did with LOTV bears.
They are so very cute and I only used Bo Bunny Prairie Chic and plain
white cardstock to make it.  The dies I used are
Spellbinders Labels Twenty Nine for the front 2 pieces that
I stenciled around.  And for the backround piece I used
5x7 Elegant Labels Four in white cardstock. The tag
I wanted smaller so i used that die from the
Enchanted Labels Twenty-Eight set and I think they
mixed rather well.  Yes I am really partial to blues
and pinks if you havent' noticed already :)

I stamped it in black versafine with clear detail embossing
powder and used both chalks and Copics for the coloring.  And
i added just a few Stickles for some glitter on the stars and the
cute little champagne glasses.  For the tag I stamped it with Versafine
deep lagoon and stenciled around the edges just a tiny bit.
To finish it I tied a pretty piece of bias ribbon from
the Stamp Simply Ribbon store and a pretty white rose.
I am not sure who I am going to give it to but I am ready
for someones Anniversary in the future :)

Thanks for stopping over and have a super amazing day!

Cardabilites sketch #75 is up...

Today there is another beautiful sketch to get inspired by
and I did a really cute card today to put up.  But first let
me share the sketch with all of you....

I stayed pretty true to the sketch this time
and used a new paper pad I got from LOTV.
I love vintage papers and this one had alot
of patterns and they all went perfect together.

For the backround of my card I used
Spellbinders Labels 29 and for the red
and the dotted pieces I cut and embossed them
using Labels 30.

I decided to make my own flower
to match and layered lots of inked petals from the
Blossom Two die.  And of course I added some
foliage and the flags and a really simple adhesive
 sentiment from Mrs. Grossmans.

And for the envelope I even went ahead and embossed the flap
with an embossing folder.  I like it and know
exactly who I am going to send it to next month.
Thank you so much for stopping over and
be sure and join us and make your own version
of the sketch and post it up on the blog :)
For my second card I used a 6x6 pad with a travel theme.
It has lots of pretty red, whites and blues and some really
cute tags to use.

Have a great day,  Teresa

Love to Swing...

I was cleaning today and found some of my
new LOTV stamps and it has been so long since
i have had my pens out I thought I would make up
a quick card.  I love this stamp because it reminds
me of my daughter when she was little.  She loved
to swing for hours and hours at the park or anywhere
else she could go.  So today this is for her --with
some papers from MME in my favorite colors...

For my dies I used a small label for the backround
in yellow print and layered the Spellbinders Stately Circles
die over it and stamped the cute little girl in black Versamark
and embossed it with detail clear.  This way my image
is nice and clear and I can use markers right away
without it smearing anywhere.  I used a few flowers and ribbon
that I had to decorate the side and the pearls are made from
a Viva Decore pen in cream.. I am running out of
tiny pearls it seems these days.  The cute sentiment is also
from Lily of the Valley and the set is wonderful
because you get so many cute sayings with it. Oh and I almost
forgot to say I used another of the On the Edge dies on my card.
I really like them and they make such
a pretty border for my cards.

I have lots to do so I better go...
thanks for stopping in for a visit and hope that
everything is wonderful in your part of the world :)

Cardabilites #65

There are only 7 days left until Christmas and so far it has
been a wonderful few weeks!  I have been making a few
cards to give away and saw that they had a new sketch up
on Cardabilites so I thought I would join in and use
a few scraps I had in my stash.

This weeks sketch is below but since
I don't have that shape I used one of my
favorite dies from Spellbinders- Blossom Four
to cut out the LOTV image and the backround using
Doodlebug Christmas papers! To make the cards
glisten I used some Diamond stickles on them too!

I also made the flowers on both of the
cards using the layered Poinsettia die
from Spellbinders S5-055.  It's a beautiful
die and you can do them in so many colors
to decorate things for Christmas.  A great
tip for getting out intricate dies is to use
a bit of wax paper or parchment between the
die and the paper.  They pop out so easy with it!

I made another quick card and used a few
flags to put as a backround and added a pretty bow
and another tiny poinsettia on top.  I added stickles
on her coat to make her outfit shine and a fun
diamond embellishment from Prima on the flower.

Thanks for stopping over and have a very
blessed holiday and don't forget to hug
someone special today!!

LOTV Mermaids and Fairies

I taught a really fun class last night and we used
the new LOTV Mermaid and Fairy stamps that I ordered
and they are so adorable.  I loved picking all the pretty colors
for the mermaids and adding lots and lots of flowers
to them.  And we used lots of the New Spellbinders Dies
because they go perfect with these stamps!  I have 4 cards
to share with you today and hope you like them.....

I love the peachy/ salmon colors in this card and we went back
to basics this class and used Pebbles glittery chalks and
colored pencils to color these adorable little girls.  I used
Spellbinders Labels Twenty eight for the backround
and added diamond stickles over the chalks to make her glisten.
She is so cute and I love the seahorses and her shell crown!

For my second card I chose pretty shades of
purple in the Bazzill Basics dot papers and I
used Resplendent Rectangles and mixed it
with Floral Ovals to do my backround.  I stamped her on
my favorite Classic Ovals lg which fit perfectly in the middle
of the oval and I colored her with soft shades of lavender!
They liked this one the best .... and I think I really like it too!

We made a shaped card for this one by cutting
the main piece of card with the Spellbinders Grand Deco Circles.
On top of that I layered a pretty piece of aqua hawaiian
paper using the Lacey Circles die and used foam dots under it.
And finally I stamped her on Standard Circles LG and
colored her with pretty shades of aqua and coral.  I added a
pretty rose and glistening ribbons and a little bit of diamond
stickles to make her glisten too!

For these two little mermaids I chose a soft green
hawaiian paper and used the Lacey Circles die to
stamp them on in white. Another great product that we
used was Neenah paper.  That along with Tsukineko's Versafine Ink
in black and a little Ranger Detail Embossing Powder in clear
will give you really fine and clear stamped image to color.

All the ladies cards in class came out
gorgeous and each one was colored in a beautiful
and unique way.  It was a really fun class and I can't wait
to do another with the New Bear Release that just came out!

Thanks so much for stopping by and seeing what
I have to share and i hope
you all have a wonderful day...

LOTV Bears

I was so excited this week when I opened the mailbox
and got my package from LOTV with my new mermaid
stamps.  They are sooooo cute and I can't wait to make
cards out of them.  But since we are in CHA mode I have
a few more things to finish and then hopefully I can
get some done for a class next week.. Yay!!!

So today I want to share a fun product that LOTV carries
and are colored by my favorite DT member on their team
Bev Rochester!!  How amazing is that!!

I made this super quick card with one of their pre-printed
cardstock sheets. See here.  I used a Spellbinders Labels One to
cut and emboss the photo and then matted it in red.  The papers
are from Basic Grey's 6x6 Christmas pad and of course
the beautiful snowflakes are from Spellbinders
Create a flake 3 and 4.  I added Diamond stickles on them
to make them glisten and put the sentiment inside.
Aren't the characters just so cute!

Here is a close up of the snowflakes so that you
can see how beautiful they are!

That's it for today but I will have some fun cards
from my Card Club Class I am teaching this weekend.
Thanks so much for stopping in :)

LOTV friday

It's friday everyone and hope you all are doing
something fun for the weekend!  I have one more card
to share from my new stamps I got from LOTV. I still
have more to stamp but at least I have a few to give
away now for upcoming birthdays and such :)

I brought out one of my favorite dies today from
Spellbinders, Lacey Circles.  The stamp
has a circle on it so I thought this would be perfect
to frame it.  The package on the stamp is a bit big so I
cut around it and put the die underneath to cut and emboss it.
I colored this card with chalks too and added a little
bit of colored pencils.  And for my bow I got a big
piece of the Twinery's twine in brown and made a
big loopy bow to finish it.  Oh and I forgot to say
that I distressed up the edges and chalked them with
Colorbox chalk in Chestnut roan... my favorite!
This cute little stamp is from their new release and
the wheelbarrow full of gifts is just so cute!

That's it for today.. I've got to get back to cleaning
up my scraproom but I hope you liked the cards
this week and maybe picked up a few ideas
and be sure and stop back for some fun
things with the new dies from CHA!

Have a very happy weekend....
and I always love comments to hear
how I am doing with my creations :)

Hugs and Smiles.....Teresa

LOTV day 4

I can't believe it's Thursday already... I am redesigning my
scraproom and there is lots to do and things to clean up
so I guess the days go fast when you are busy.  But it's
going to be worth it and I think it is going to be really pretty
when I am all done with cleaning.  I even ordered some pretty pink
rose fabric to make some pillows and cushions... Can't wait to be done!

So this is my 4th card this week and for this card I used the same
die in different sizes and prints, layered it and changed the positions.
I found some Prima paper with sunflowers to go with the stamp
and used my Leafy Squares die from Spellbinders.  The stamp
today is called "Blooming Lovely" and is just so cute!
And instead of using Copics I got out my favorite chalks and
colored pencils and blended them all together.  I really love
chalks because they cover a big area and blend really smoothly.
To finish the card I added a bit of vintage lace and a bias bow
and that is all.  I couldn't quite figure out where to put
the sentiment so I just put it on a tag with a bit of
colored paper behind it on the inside of the card.
It says "Have a blooming great day!"

So one more card and one more day and then
lots of fun starting with CHA....

LOTV Day 3

Here it is day 3 of using my adorable new stamps
and today I have a cute little ballerina stamp
called "Wish upon a star" that I used to make a fun
birthday card to send to my daughters friend this week.

So everyday I am trying to think outside
the box and maybe use something a different way-
so for this card I stamped and embossed the image
and cut and embossed her out with a flower die from
Spellbinders called Blossom Four.  And they also have some
brand new dies for cardmaking that I used to create
the 3 rectangles in the back round.  They are Matting Basics
and you will be able to get them in stores really soon!!
All of them are going to be so amazing to use
so be sure and check your LSS or online to get them.

but enough with my commercial and back to the card right?....
I colored her with both Copics and colored pencils
and used some chunky glitter to add onto her wand!
The sentiment is stamped onto the tiniest piece of the
Splendid Circles die S4-354. It's a great die to use for
almost anything and has great details on it. The papers
I used are from MME and I used May Arts ribbon.

Hope you like this one and I still have 2 more to
share so see you back tomorrow and thanks
so much for stopping in to get inspired!

Hugs and Smiles,  Teresa

LOTV Day 2

It was so much fun making cards with all my new stamps
from LOTV and today I have a card to share with
one of my favorite New releases from Spellbinders too.
On our hop we previewed the new Grand Deco Ovals
and I love using them!  You can use these amazing oval shapes
for so many different things like cards, pages, mini books,
mixed media projects and so many more things too.

My favorite part of this die is the intricate designs on the edges
and I made a shaped card today by cutting it on the top edge
with a folded piece of paper. Then I covered it with another
cut and embossed piece of pink. With the next smaller size die
I cut 2 pieces and layered on and then stamped on the other.
I stamped on the print to see if I could make a scene with it
and I think it worked well.  I colored her with Copic pens
and added a little bit of shimmer with diamond stickles.
The sentiment is done on tiny Labels 20 die and I finished
it with a bias tape bow and a lovely little white rose.
The papers I used are from Prima.

These are the new dies... don't you just love them?
Next week is CHA so you will see lots of new things
and be sure and check out our blog for updates too!

Have a great day and see you tomorrow,

1st day of Lotv week

This week I want to do something fun with the
Lily of the Valley stamps that I just got so I had an idea
to make some fun cards each day and share... and of
course using lots of Spellbinders dies with them.....LOTV has
some of my favorite stamps to use and nothing beats the sweet
and adorable little figures and animals that they create!!
...So today I am sharing a card that i did using
 Milly Flower Power.

I love sunflowers so I picked these papers from  MME
"So Sophie" to use with yellows and purples.  I used Copics
to color her and added a little glossy accents in the center
of the flower to make it glisten. And-- for the flower
I stamped a coordinating piece of yellow paper and
cut around the flower and popped it up with foam dots.
This takes time but is a really fun way to add extra prints to
your stamping and a little less coloring.
For the sentiment I am trying to
get in the habit to use the tiny Spellbinders dies.  They
have the cutest shapes and make the perfect accent to
add words on.  And I tried stamping her on a bit of printed
card stock which I really like.  I love to try new things and
I have lots more to share all week so be sure and check
back to see more adorable new stamps!

Materials List for this is:
MME So Sopie, Spellbinders/ Teardrop Circles, Ranger
Archival ink in Coffee, Superfine Detail Clear Embossing
Powder, Bias Ribbon, Glossy Accents, Distress Ink-Dusty
Concord, Copic Markers, button, Versa Magic Purple Hydrangea.

See you tomorrow,
Hugs and Smiles...  Teresa

New Cards with LOTV stamps..

The last release from LOTV was so cute and I couldn't resist
buying a few new ones to make a few new cards so send so
I got out my Copics out and had lots of fun creating...

I love the new fairies that they have and
the cute ways they are drawn.  This one
can be for anything really but i used one of
the new mini buttons and made it for a birthday!
I used papers from Lime Twist 6x6 pad on this
and my lg. Scalloped Octagons and the tiny
Scalloped squares in the 4 windows. For the outside
edge of the frame I traced around the edge of the die
and hand cut it so that it would just barely give
me a little bit of an edge for extra color. The coloring
on the image is with copics and colored pencils and I added
diamond stickles on her wings to make them sparkle.

Isn't this little puppy so cute?  For this I used
an old 6x6 pad with pet prints on it and my
Spellbinders Lacey Square die to mat behind
the image.  I also added the diamond stickles
on the little bubbles to make them glisten a little too.

This is just a quick card you can make from
the kitchen paper pad from Bo Bunny.  I matted
all the papers 4 x to bring out the colors in the stripe
and put one of the coffee chipboard images over
the other coffee image to make it pop more.  The
flowers are from Prima and the what's brewin' is stamped
on cream cardstock with Momento Rich Cocoa
on a small labels Twenty die from Spellbinders...
I think I am going to add a little steam coming out
of the cup now that I see it up but
hope you like all the bright and cheerful colors I used :)

and...
Last for today is just a simple thank you card that I made
with my MME paper pad.  I layered the papers across on
an A2 size cream card and added a sheer ribbon to start
and then embossed a simple square 2" embossed image
on a piece of their coordinating cream cardstock.  Lastly
i glued that on a Spellbinders square fleur de lis die and popped it up
with foam dots for more dimension.

Hope you like the new cards and have lots more to share
but I need to do a bit more coloring still so
have a great day and thanks for stopping by...

Lots of happy hugs,  Teresa

LOTV Challenge

Lily of the Valley Stamps in England is
having a fun challenge this week so I
thought I would make up a quick card
to enter and add to my collection.. Yay!

This is one of their digitals that is already
colored. (Saves lots of time when you need it)
Lots of times I add extra pencil or
copic to it to match the paper but this time
I had the perfect ones to match the image from
My Minds Eye.  The flowers are from
K and Co and EK and the leaves are
punched from an MS punch.

Here are 3 of my favorite cards I did and
thought I would share.  The top one I got in
the Basic Grey gallery and the birthday kitten
was made for a friends birthday.  All of
these are already colored but the top one I added
extra pencil to match the paper.

I hope you like them and be sure and leave a comment
and check out all the other entries on their blog here.

Hugs,  Teresa

that they came out with to do still and will post them soon.

Here are some close ups of the glitter...
