It's feeling like fall today...

Today the weather is finally cool and even though it's Halloween
today we have a chance of rain and it's good because we really
need it here in So Cal.  Today i have some fall projects that i
did a while back and thought i would share them with you.

The papers and tags are from a really cute collection from
Cosmo Cricket.  I love the rich fall colors of this set and i found
the cutest little owl to decorate the tags and the clear pillow
box that i found.  It's really fun and easy to do with
all the little banners and leaves on things.  The belly band
on the box is from Spellbinders of course and is one of my fav's.

For this card i just layered lots of pretty pieces of
paper and then added some adhesive letters for a
title and the jute ribbon at the bottom for the bike
to sit on.  The bike is a die from Spellbinders and
I think it looks great cut/embossed in ivory cardstock.

For my last card today i used the same Cosmo Cricket
paper set and embossed a piece of kraft paper
with a wood folder and then inked it up a little.
Then i tore some paper to put at the top and made
this cute cluster of leaves from one of my favorite
leaf dies from Spellbinders.  And i added a few more
of those cute little owls and a tiny title at the bottom.

I hope you like all the things i have to share today and
be sure and check back for more this month for fall ideas.

Have a really wonderful week,  Teresa

New Graphic 45 Halloween

I love all the new papers in the new Graphic 45 Eerie Tale set this
season. The colors are so pretty and the prints and tags and such are
really fun to work with.  Today i have a card and some mini treat bags
that i made up to be ready for this year and a few other goodies i had.

To make my card i used one of the tags in the set and cut it out
and layered it with some of the spider web paper and some orange,
black and cardboard that i rolled and sanded a bit.  The ribbons
are from Really Reasonable Ribbon Halloween set and it all
matched so good with the papers and really made my projects pop.

The mini bags i picked up at Hobby Lobby and the tags are also
from the G45 Halloween tags paper.  I just glued on some matching
papers to the fronts of each of the bags and then added these
funny little adhesive embellishments and then splattered it all with a
paintbrush diluted with water and black paint.  Really fun :)

Here is a couple of shots of just the bags so that
you can see the tags and stuff on them.  Arent' they cute?

That's it for today, sorry it's short... i am so very busy with
classes up at the Yap and other fun DT assignments so hope you
all have a really great day!!   Teresa

New Quietfire Sentiments

There are lots of new Quietfire Sentiment stamps out this month
and i used one of new Just for You sentiments on my card to share today.

To make this..I started with a white card for this one and ran it through
with an embossing folder to get the edges.  Then I inked it a little with
some TH distress inks in tattered rose and worn lipstick.  And then I took
a crafters' workshop 6x6 stencil called Mini gathered flowers and
pushed a little bit of white gesso through it with a palette knife.

I let it dry really good and then sprinkled some of my favorite colored
embossing powders over the top from Stampendous and heated it all
up to make it all shiny and glisten.  Then i just stamped the sentiment
in black and cut it out with a Spellbinders oval die to put at the top.

This was a really fun card to make and perfect to send out to someone
special. Thanks for stopping over and be sure and check out the new
stamps from Quietfire and all the neat things from Stampendous too.

RRR and Heartfelt Creations

Today our team is part of a really fun blog hop with all the talented
girls on the Heartfelt Creations team.  We both got to exchange products
and today i have a page and a few cards to share with you that i did with
the Daphne Collection and a few of the stamp sets that i had in my stash.

If you have been hopping along with all of us you should have
hopped over from Bonnies Blog and if you just started I posted
all the links at the bottom for you to see all the things we have for you!!

For this project you will need the Sunkissed Flower stamp set and
the open leaf stamp set.  I used papers from the 12x12 set and stamped
them in burgundy ink and cut them.  Then i shaped them with a stylus
and glued them together.  The back paper is layered with a few
Spellbinders circle dies that i had cut and tucked under the 2 photos.

For my ribbons i used Bias Seam Binding in ivory and just a small
piece of the sheer burgundy ribbon to set it off.  I also added just a small
piece of ivory crochet lace to balance out the bottom of the page. The
glitzy gold is from BBunny and the pearls from Want2Scrap.
I love the way she smiles so my title i think was perfect to
finish the page with.  Now to find a frame to hang it up on the wall...
Love that part the best :)

My first card is using the same flower set and i added one from
the Delicate Asters set and the leaf set.  I made border with an SB
die and then added one of the precut rectangles that come in
the kit.  It fit perfect and after i glued the flower on i just added
a pretty pink bias tape ribbon to finish it off with at the bottom. I think
that those are my favorite ribbons to put on projects and RRR carries
every color under the sun so you always have something to match.
And you can do your own custom ribbons too with white so i really
like that alot too. Guess I better get an order in soon for me!

So next on your hop is the uber talented Cherry.....

Be sure and leave a comment, it's always so nice to hear from you :)

Hugs and Smiles, Teresa

Just for Fun

Someone asked me once what my style was and my first thought
was "All over the place".  I love the thought of digging in
and trying something new and working at the store for all
those years really had me learning and trying everything that
i could get my hands on.  So where am i going with this.  Well
Spellbinders and others are doing Simple and Trendy style
projects and going back and doing a few quick projects
is both refreshing and fun at the same time.  Today i have
2 cards to share that i am doing in my class for Sunday.

For this card I used 2 colors of pink ink to create a shadow
for the back and front with a beautiful stamp by Stampendous.
That cute little bee stamp in black i had in my stash
and the Happy Birthday is from Fun Stampers Journey.
It's super easy to do and I think would be great as a set to
maybe give as a gift for something.. maybe another class right?

And this card is with a Penny Black stamp and i used the
new Chevron Border die.  For my card i wanted to see that
pretty dark turquoise through the die so i cut the white front
out with it and then stamped it and added that flower with glitter.
This is my favorite color so you know i love this one alot.

Well that's it from here in California today.  The weather is
hot again and i cannot wait for fall to really be settling in for us.
No more summer heat for this girl, but it's good for crafting
inside to beat the heat.  Thanks for stopping over and don't
forget to leave a message so i can stop over to visit you too :)

Have an awesome weekend!!

Halloween Challenge for RRR

This month we have a fun challenge on the RRR Blog to create fun
projects and cards for Halloween.  Today i have 2 things to share
with all of you, a super cute card and a banner to decorate my house.

My first project is this card i did with a new Penny Black stamp
and some Graphic 45 papers that i had.  I created a simple backround
for it with fun oranges and blacks and then stamped the image on
white cardstock and colored it with chalk and colored pencil.
The beautiful orange ribbon goes perfect and has the tiniest bit of gold
on the sides of it.  I just love how this one came out.

For my banner i found this neat pad of banner sheets at my local
craft store.  All i had to do was tear them off and cut the purple
backround that you see.  I used a stencil and some Studio G gesso
to create a backround and then i cut out some fancy circles with
one of my favorite Spellbinders dies and glued that on.

Then i inked around all the edges with orange and black chalk
ink and glued on these huge adhesive letters i found.  (If you
have a cricut you can do them that way too).  To finish it
i tied a piece of the purple swirl ribbon through the whole
thing and tied lots of pretty ribbons from the
September ribbon assortment this month in between them all.

I had lots of fun stickers from Doodlebugs Halloween collection
so i created these fun little scenes on the ends and a few in the
center with the letters.  It's a little more fun and not so scary but
i like it and can't wait to add more things around it on my fireplace.

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure and share with
us what you create for the challenge and maybe you will win!!

Have a great day... Teresa
