Can't wait for the New Year

My Christmas was just wonderful and
everyone had such a great time together!
It is so very sad that is over and done with already and
I am going to have to put all my decorations
away again for another year!! But- I took lots
of pictures to put in my scrapbook to remember so
i will be good again for another year at least!

And.. I had some extra time to put together
some layouts and redo my scrap room
to get all my things done for the show in
January!!  I can't wait to go and we have some
really fun things planned for our booth so
if you are going be sure and stop by and say hi!

The top layout I did for BC with their
beautiful Valentines papers.
 Lots of fun glitter
and things to cut out. And I layered
and layered and layered the paper &
chalked the letters so that they would
match the layout! This was such a cute
picture and the paper went just perfect!

I did these quick cards and layout with
some of the new Bo Bunny papers to to get me in the Valentine mood!
I just love all the pinks and browns and black prints!  And...  I know
it is not even New Years but it is my very favorite holiday so why not right!

Thanks for stopping by....

Only 2 days to go....

So Valentines is out already in the stores and itis my absolute favorite holiday because of all the Hearts so I loaded up alreadyto do some layouts with some of the photos I have in my file.
This page is one of 2 for Nicoles homecoming this year
and I was really happy with the colors of the new papers
 from My Minds Eye.
She had these beautiful white orchids that had glitter all over them
with lots of pink ribbons.  She looked so pretty!!!

I have had this picture of my son for a long time and decided
to do it in a way that I could tell him how much I love him and
all the things I think are special about him.
The paper is by BoBunny and has lots of words that say
Love all over it.  Pretty much says it all!!!

I found these fun little hearts by EK and
used glued them all across the border.

That is all for today and I am working on lots more so
Thanks for stopping by....

Only 6 days till Christmas

I am almost done shopping for Christmas and have everything
done but the food for Christmas eve so I grabbed a few photos
that I needed to scrap and get something done to put in their books.
This photo is my daughter in
the back of our house up in Big Bear.  She loved the snow but
since she is so warm blooded this cute outfit didn't really stay
on too long.  It was always fun with the kids to sled and
make snow angels and build snowmen when we went up
and there was lots of snow.  Really fun memories!!
I stamped extra snowflakes with the Bo Bunny stamps
and used a fun embossing powder called Winter Wonderland.
It is super white and had lots of glitter.

I had wished i had more of these plastic snowflakes
to add but the one was still good.  I put some icicle
stickles on it to make it shine like the snow does when
the sun hits it in the perfect way :)

Thanks for stopping by...

Fun little projects for Christmas

So I love making fun little containers to hold goodies and
treats that I make and these little pyramid boxes were really
fun to do.  I used a rubon for the tag in the back and
some punches for the scallops and the little greenery
on the pink roses box.  And of course I had to add
some icicles stickles on the flowers and around the tags to
make it just a little more sparkly looking!

I have lots of new stamps from LOTV to use but had
to use this one for my new snow papers from Bo Bunny.
I used a spellbinders die and my Copics for color.  The
tiny white dots are made from a fun product called enamel
accents from Ranger.  Great product and dries pretty quick!

My last project is from a gal that I cannot find her blog
to give her credit but thought these would be awesome
to give as gifts and they are super easy and inexpensive
to make and you can use lots of scraps.  The papers
I used are from Best Creation and I love the butterfly
paper.  The colors are so pretty and it's good gift for
 just about anyone.

Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I will
get some more things made and put up soon!

The Winners will be announced on Friday Dec 3rd
so good luck and have fun hopping!

so now for my blog....

"I" have 3 special things to share today.
My first is a layout that I made with some of the pictures
I took at the Disneyland Main Street Parade last year!
It is a fun holiday tradition in our family to spend the day
eating lots of yummy holiday treats and riding the rides and
of course my favorite part is the parade!
I love that I can get photos of all the characters dressed in
their finest Christmas costumes and Santa Claus too
all in one place -and all at one time...

I needed some big poinsettia's to go with this so I got out
some of the printed papers from the new Christmas Collection
and embossed them with red glitter, cut them out
 and layered them
to mix in with the flowers already on the papers.
I added some extra stickles for sparkle on each of
the flowers and some glittery gold flourishes on each side
of the flowers too! I really love all the glitz, if you have ever
seen the absolutely gorgeous decorations at Disneyland
for the Holiday this paper
really does it justice with all the sparkles :)

I found this clear transparent snowflake embellishment and it
went perfect in this spot.....

supplies for this page are:
GP 017, 018, 171, 173, 418, 424
and Sand Glitter Cardstock

The base of this cone was supposed to be a
Christmas tree but I got this great idea to make an
Country Angel for the top of my new tree.
All the ruffles are border trimmed paper gathered
and glued to the base.  Her arms are rolled paper and
so are her wings behind the netting.  I made
her a bouquet of gold butterflies and ribbons.
I would have liked her dress to be fuller but maybe
on the next one I would try something different :)

My last project is just this simple card with cut out
snowflakes from our Winter paper Collection.
This is going to be a hand it to the person card because it
would cost a fortune to mail with all the layers!!
anyway hope you like my projects today and

Your next stop on the hop is over to
and only 3 more to go!!  Thanks for hopping over
and good luck to you :)

Ridin in Hawaii

Here is another layout that I got done from our vacation
in Hawaii last month.  I would have done more but ran out of
ink to print photos.  I didn't want to go with the traditional
riding papers so I picked some that I had with bright colors to remind me
of all the beautiful flowers there! It was so gorgeous!!

The girls had a blast riding their horses all over the ranch
in the hills of Hawaii and the weather was absolutely perfect
for them too.  Couldn't have been a better day!!

Just catching up...

This month- like this year is flying by and my best intentions
to work on my own projects hasn't really happened much but I
got a few things done this weekend and will try to get more
posted this week.  When I heard on the radio that
Christmas was only so many days away now, I thought I
better start getting some things together and
make up some things for the Holidays and fast!

This page I did with New Basic Grey papers!  The colors
were fantastic for this picture that I got of my great uncle
and family.  I have an amazing cousin who is the one to contact
for family info and she gave me lots of new ones
but I have yet to scrap them!  So this is my first
but at least it is a start right?

This fun little mini book I created for some recipes I am
giving with matching aprons that I have yet to make but
I am working on it...  The paper is from Pine Cone Press
and I layered lots of each paper and cut a white
lacy looking border with a Martha Stewart Punch.
I added some sparkly stickles to the front too
and a few flowers and some ribbon.

This book is just a folded 12x12 piece of paper
and you could make one to put cards and envelopes in too!

Thanks for stopping by.....  Teresa

Fun new papers from Webster's

I got to use some new papers from Webster's new lines
for my 2 new layouts.  They have great sticker sheets and letters
and I love the Christmas because it has so many colors
it doesn't look like the traditional Christmas at all.

I used my Tim Holtz die to make the flowers and a leaf
die from Sizzix.  The snowflakes are these gorgeous
stickers from Best Creation and they have a little
opalie kind of look to them... they are really, really pretty
and super easy to use....

This was just fun paper to use to show all the fun souvenirs that
everyone got in the airport.  We all took lots and lots
of pictures at CHA so the camera theme kind of fit for me! :)
It's simple and i love the letters!!
You can get all these new papers at
Hearts N Crafts Etc and lots more from their new lines.

Hopefully I can get more things on the blog this week.
I am catching up with life and
my kitchen is finally done and I can cook again.  Whoo-hoo

so hope you like the new pages and hope you
create something fun for you today!

New Cards from Whipper Snapper

I had so much fun putting together some fun cards
for the Whipper Snapper Post on the
Best Creation Blog this week!
We each got lots of stamped images and lots
of paper and cut, colored and inked
to our hearts content!!

I love that you can mix and match all of the papers
and they have so many gorgeous styles to chose from too!

I didn't get a title on this but I am going
to add "Lucky to have a friend like You"
it fits perfect with all the cute shamrocks on it
don't you think!!!

The colors for this card were so pretty and bright
and has so much fun glitter and shiny things...

I love snowmen so this is probably my favorite card
with all the pretty snowflakes and the super cute snowman stamp
besides the easel card below with the surfing mouse!
don't you love his cute board shorts :)

On this card I cut lots of extra leaves to pop out the tree from
where this adorable monkey is hanging from.  This paper
is actually from their St. Patricks line but it kind of looks
like a jungle too... love the colors!

I love the puppy with the cute little bone in his mouth
and the stars and reds and blues seemed to work
pretty good for this card.  I found this red bone paper clip
in my stash that went perfect on the ribbon.

Hope you liked all the cards, it was a really fun challenge
for all of us on the Best Creation D.T.

Thanks for stopping by....
Have a great weekend!

Lot's of New Projects to Share

It's been a really busy week with all the new things
happening at home and making lots of new projects
with all the new papers coming out!

I have lots more in the works and will have more this week
but here is a few to share.....

Card Club this month was filled with lots of fun
inking and embossing techniques.
We masked, inked, embossed, sprayed and
glittered up lots of cards for the month.
The stamps were all from Stampendous' New Halloween
and fall collection and papers from Basic Grey,
Graphic 45 and MME & Bazzill.
We all had lots of fun and can't wait to get
messy again next month with Tim Holtz products! I so love that!!

I got my Whipper Snapper order in fast for these way too
cute stamps and used my favorite Best Creation papers
to make this patchwork backround for the adorable
scarecrow.  I popped up lots of sunflowers and colored him
with my chalks and copic markers. I got out my
sewing machine and stiched around the edges and colored him
with copic markers.  Isn't he cute !!

I used a Best Creation border paper for this card and
cut from 2 sides and glued it together for the
backround of this little ghost train.  The cute little
hat I found fit perfect on him and the ribbon added
the right sentiment and touch to finish it off I think :)

I love these stamps can you tell?

So all of us were creating things at BC with Bats and I had this idea
to make this fun trick or treat bucket !
My daughter and niece can trick or treat forever just to see who
can get the most candy so this is made just for her!
(Although it probably will get filled up about 10 times or more :)
I think next year I can decorate a wheel barrow maybe (hee-hee)
but anyway....
I actually redid the sticker on the front
by running a punched out scallop circle of
the bat paper and adding the More Candy less Tricks
to it.  I just glued it over the original so that the happy halloween still
showed around the edge  and added lots of bats and
strips of pumpkin and candy papers.
It was really fun to do :)

So thanks for stopping by and hopefully
I can get lots more things on this week...
Have a great weekend!

Argggg- its a pirates life for me!!

We had such a great weekend at the Tall ships Festival in Dana Point!
They have had this for 26 years now and I think we have been there
for about 10 and it never gets old.  I love all the ships as they sail
around before Sunset and sitting on the jetty it
seems so cool to see the ships as they did a 100 years ago or more!

And we love the pirates! All the kids love taking pictures
with them and there was this cute little boy and his brother
making pirate noises like argggg as they took their picture.
I laughed so much, it was so cute to see :)

There was lots of great food and now they even have
a show on the Pilgrim with red coats and everything!

It was absolutely gorgeous weather and we had a blast!

I love this picture!! It looks so neat as the boats sail around in the Sunset :)
