Happy Birthday to you Card

Wow-- i can't believe that the week went by so fast.  My new job is
really fun and we have lots to do getting ready for the Christmas
open house this week so with everyday life added in---
it's been a little crazy.

But i had a chance to make up a special birthday card with one of
the new Spellbinders release dies and some gorgeous papers

The new dies are called Labels 42 and Labels 42 Decorative Accents.
They are some of my favorites and the details on them are amazing.
There is also one more die available in the trio but
i just wanted to use the 2 together today.

To make the designs really pop i used white cardstock from Worldwin
and then layered it with the gorgeous dies using foam dots between the layers.
The sentiment is from Penny Black stamps and the flowers i had in my
stash.  I also used one of my favorite foliage dies called Sprigs.
It's perfect to use whole or tear apart for smaller projects.

I just love the colors and design of the papers and have lots more
projects to share soon.  Thanks for stopping over today and i hope
that you all have a really wonderful weekend :)

Hugs and Smiles to you.... Teresa

papers are from Pine Cone Press and the cute stickers are
from Doodlebug.

Here you can see some of the pretty ribbons that i added at the top
and at the bottom to finish it.  I really love all the bright fun colors
in this set and there is lots more that you can get to coordinate in

New Oval Bliss Die

I have another new die to share today that you can preorder from
Spellbinders and it's really pretty.  I love lots of ovals and circles
and this is another one that is really beautiful to mix and match
with all the other ones that you have in your SB Stash.

This new die is called Oval Bliss and i had the perfect LOTV
stamp to fit inside.  I colored the image with chalks and
colored pencils and the papers are from MME.  I love that the
grey and tan is perfect for the little teddy bear image and the phone.
The twine you can get from RRR shop online and they have lots
and lots of colors to use for all your projects.

So that's all for today and be sure and stop back for our RRR
Blog hop tomorrow, it's going to be a fun one :)

Fall Page to share today

So we are finally getting a little rain our way here in Southern
California and it's really nice.  I can't wait to go to Riley's this year
and get pumpkins and go have lunch at Hawk's head house.  I am
sure it's going to be a great year for pumpkins.

This page was one that i did with photos from last year when we went
to visit Indiana.  They had so many pumpkin patches and one had
these giant pumpkins so we all jumped out and had fun getting some
photos.  My favorite part was my niece pretending to be a scarecrow.
She looked so cute so i just had to do this page of her.
I used lots of fall papers and fussy cut some of the tags and leaves
to make the border on it. The flowers are from Bo Bunny and prima.
It was super quick and easy to do.

And one last quick thing for today is a fall card that i did
with this cute paper from Imaginesce and one of the fun little
stickers that came with it.  The die in the back is another one from
the new release. It is called Decorative Labels 41 and it's another of my favs.
The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and
the metal leaf is from Magenta.

Hello with Flowers

Happy Monday everyone and I hope that you had a wonderful and
relaxing weekend.  I had the whole weekend off so i got alot of gardening
done and made lots of projects to send off for pubs and classes.
It was really nice so today i have a new card to share with you from
that same new release of Trendy dies.

I really love this new die too and like all the others there is
so much that you can do with it. It is called Contemporary Strip
and I decided to just use simple card stock in 4 colors and i
cut/embossed the design and matted it and then used the
Spellbinders Sunflower die and i made it in white and flat
(so that i can mail it) and put that on the front too.
There is also some brand new word dies that are just released
and i thought this would be a fun set to show off because there are
lots of great sayings in each set.  The hello die was just a bit long
so i snipped off a bit of the right side and it fit perfect under
the flower.   I really like it and it took no time at all.

Here are the sayings cut out in paper and you get 2 of them in
each of the new sets.  And the neat thing is you can cut them in any
color that you want to use.  No stamping and no mess.  I love that.

Hope you like this new die too and be sure and visit the website
so that you can see all the new dies.. They are amazing as always!!

Have a wonderful day... Teresa

Just in case you missed it :)

Last week all of the new team on Spellbinders did a blog
hop to show off the new dies that were released for Christmas.
And wow there were some really beautiful projects that were
shared by everyone.  I got to use the new Dove of Peace die and
i made up an ornament to give and to decorate my tree with.

It was really easy to do only because i am thinking
that it would be nice to make alot of them and sometimes
i run out of time and never get it done so i only used
ivory and gold paper and then layered the tail and
added a few rhinestones to it.  You can see more of
it on the Spellbinders blog here and see all the rest
of the dies that everyone created projects for!

Thanks for stopping over and hope you have a nice weekend.

Snowflakes in September with SB

If you visit here often enough during the holidays you will
know that i love to use snowflakes on my projects and today
i am sharing another new die from the Spellbinders Trendy
release called Flurries and you can see it and all the other dies
that are released this week here on the website.

This was a super quick and easy die to use too from the new
trendy dies available from Spellbinders.  You can cut the
back snowflake piece in one easy cut and then layer it over
a color and then add a few embellishments. So easy... I added a
few larger snowflakes from the 2013 Snowflake die set and a cute
ribbon and then lots of rhinestones to make it glittery.

The stamp is from Quietfire Design stamps and you can see that here
and order it online.  I think that it went just perfect with this die.

So off to work but I just wanted to do a quick post and show
you another one of these amazing new dies.  I have lots more
so be sure and check back soon.  Hugs and Smiles and don't forget
to let me know that you stopped by...

RRR Autumn Challenge for September!

Wow it's hard to believe that it is Sept already but for me that's good
because it means the hot weather is over and the
cool brisk days of fall are coming. Sooo happy about that :)

I was out shopping in my local crafty store and found these really
cute fall cookie cutters and this adorable owl sticker so i thought i would
design a pizza box so that i could put them inside to give with either
brownies or fudge in them wrapped up.

So how do you make your own box you ask?
Well to customize your own box- lay what you want on a blank piece
of paper and measure the size and then add on the height that you want
to the sides and the back.  I picked just 1 1/2 inches high for mine
and it ended up only using one piece of 12/12 with a small piece added
to the bottom for the flap.  If you google pizza boxes you can find lots
of patterns online to get you started and then you can create from there.

For my project i used these ribbons:
green polka dot sheer ribbon too.  The papers are from Doodlebug
and Bo Bunny dots and the Spellbinders die is one of my favorite
called Grand Decorative Circles One.  The little Thank you tag is also
from Doodlebug and you might see a few more things with that one later.

Thanks so much for visiting us and be sure and check out all the other
teams designs for the challenge and enter one of your own to win some
of the gorgeous ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbons!!
