New Quietfire Stamps in the house!!

Quietfire has some really gorgeous new stamp sets that have just been
released and i had to make up a few cards with them to try them out
and they are wonderful.  They have the new cling mounting on each set
and it makes it so easy to get a good stamp with them.

if you go back to the Quietfire blog you can see all the new sets
and the sentiments for each of them.  There is so many great sayings
in these and the new cling mounts on each of them make the stamping
even easier.  My card above is with the Always be my friend #5615 set.
I used paper from K & Co and dies from Spellbinders to make
the frame, flowers, leaves and all the swirls. And the ribbons
are from Really Reasonable Ribbon online store. Lots of good things
over there too coming this next month.

For this card i stamped on one of the stickers in the set from Authentique.
It was from the Easy Going set and i just layered a few pieces of the
papers and used a few of the stickers to add on the front.  This stamp
set is called Twirl and Enjoy #6397 and it too has other great
sayings in the set.

Thanks for stopping over on this wonderful Sat and hope
you get stop over to online store to see all those new stamps today!!

Hugs and Smiles....Teresa

New Cardmaker Challenge is up...

There is a new Cardmaker challenge up that is about folding things this
time on their Facebook page and i really had fun with this one.  I had
some things sitting around and started folding and cutting and this is
what i came up with.  I think it's pretty neat!!

I love fall and going to the LA County Fair, apple picking and all
the other really fun things you can do at this time of year, so i made
a card that folds out to look kinda like a barn with a pocket inside
to put the card you see with the clouds and that adorable sun
on.  And it folds up easy and has a super cute belly band to hold it.

It looks a bit funny but it folds flat to send in an envelope and then
you can pop it open like you see above and below.

It would be fun to add some extra straw around the bottom and
maybe i will add something more to the belly band which is by the
way from Spellbinders called Belly Band 2.  The sun die
is also from the Spellbinders set from Celebra'tions and you
can see more of it here....

I love using chalks and colored pencils so that is how i colored him.
That's all for today but i will have something fun to share in the next
couple of days with a brand new stamp release from Quietfire!!

So stay tuned and have a wonderful Wednesday!!

RRR Pets challenge for August

Our challenge this month for Really Reasonable Ribbons is to create
something about or for our pets so i dug through my box of things i need
to use and pulled out an old ovaltine container to repurpose for a dog
biscuit holder.  I had the perfect papers in it too with lots of cute sayings
so i got to work and this is what i came up with....

I had to use 2 strips of paper since it was wider than 12 inches but they
went together great and i added ribbons from the August Ribbon Assort.
and that fun cut bow at the top with another cut tag i had in my stash from
Best Creation....  The tag in the front i bent and glued on 2 pieces of a
Spellbinders die called Scalloped ovals.  And i chalked it just a little so
that it had the look of those yummy baked dog bisquits.

For the top i cut a piece of thin chipboard with another Spellbinders die
and a piece of matching paper with cut dog paws on it.  The tag says
Good Dog all around it and it just seemed fitting for them.  I have 2 really
cute dogs that help me craft so treats for them are a must!!

Be sure and check out the other projects on the Challenge link
on RRR and join us if you have a cute idea and maybe you can win!!

Have a really wonderful day...Teresa

RRR August Blog Hop today!!

Good Morning everyone and welcome to our August hop with
Really Reasonable Ribbon !!  You should have arrived here
from Bonnie's Blog......and if you just started be sure and start back
at the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog... we all made so many
neat things to share with all of you this month :)

So... in cleaning up my scrapbook room this month i found lots and
lots of fun things that i had put aside to do and create for whatever
so today i am sharing with all of you a Kaisercraft wood frame set
and another from Creative Imaginations. And of course lots and lots
of ribbons from the yummy August Ribbon Club Assortment.

I have done a couple of these and found that gluing it together and
then painting it is alot easier.  I used paints from Americana and papers
from Imaginese to make it.  The photos are from our trip back to Indiana
last fall and we had the best time doing the fall U-Picks.... and the front
piece flips up so i can write about the fun things we did that day :)

And most importantly the ribbons i used for it are: Mesh Ribbons,
Jute String, and orange satin swirls ribbon and gingham ribbon in rust
 from the Ribbon Club Assortment.

This next project is a wood trifold frame that i had from Creative
Imaginations.  I painted it first in brown and then i covered it with pretty
papers from Bella Blvd with lots of die cut stickers.  Then i added
lots of pretty fall colored ribbons from RRR to finish it off.  And all i have
to do is get some wonderful photos this year when we go apple
and pumpkin picking up at Rileys'.  I can't wait its my favorite place.

Thanks for stopping in and the next person on your hop list is
Cherry so have fun and hope you get even more inspired!

Hello it's me clipboard

Today i have a fun post to share of a project i did with a really
fun Spellbinders die that you can use for mini books and a neat
paper line from Teresa Collins.  I have so much in my stash that
i needed to use so i thought how fun to make up this clipboard mini album
for me or just to give as a gift for someone special.

The Spellbinders die that i used is called Creative Book Pages and all
the pieces that you see are cut with it.  To make it i layered the pieces
that i cut out of each of the dies to open up and inside there is plenty
of room for photos and journaling.  Then i just clipped it under and
that is it.  How fun is that to make....

I really love the colors and as always she has great tags and goodies to
have fun with and create amazing pages.  I also added ribbons from

Here is another view of the inside pages.

The paper line is called This is Me just in case you need
to make up something with it too.  Thanks for stopping over
to see what's new and hope your week is wonderful!!

New Spellbinders Team for 2014/ 2015

I am so excited to announce that i have made the
Spellbinders Design Team
again for my 3rd year!!  It's incredible and amazing and I am so
happy to be on this journey again with 9 more of the most talented
ladies i know.  Not to mention the Spellbinders Blog Team that
always set the bar for all of us so very high with what they do!!

Over on the blog you can see more of what i would say best
shows my style.  I love intricate things and for this page i only
used 3 sheets of white Bazzill paper and lots of amazing Spellinders
dies and embossing folders to create the backround, doilies and
all the flowers.  The colors i did by inking them and then the magic
just happens.  I love my dies and what you can create with them and I
am over the moon happy with the excitement of the coming year ahead!!

Be sure and check out the Spellbinders Blog all week to see who all the
other new team members are and what they have to share with you!!
