Anything Goes with Amazing Paper Grace this week

This week it's anything goes with the designers for Amazing Paper Grace so i decided to take one of the new 3D Shapabilities Grand Cabinet Die set and make a kind of easel card.  To make it I just cut 2 pieces out for the front and back and kept the centers in and glued them just at the top.  Then i set it out and measured across of the two bottom tabs and cut 2 pieces of paper to fit across.  Be sure and pencil mark them first so that you can get the cut on the slant like i did.  And for the center i die cut just the middle and stamped one of my favorite stamps on it and colored it with chalks and colored pencils.  This is a real old one and it's always good to get those out again and give them some new life.  And to make the pinks pop more i die cut one of my favorite Spellbinders dies and layed it across under

Here is a closer version of the sides.  I also added another pretty piece of pink to the inside just to finish it a little more and i made lots of gorgeous flowers with the Cinch and Go 3 die set for the top.  I just cut them out and spritzed them and then shaped them on a spongy mat.  It's fun and you get perfect colored flowers to match your projects that way.

At the bottom i stamped Heartfelt Thanks with the Giving Occations stamp and die set and cut the ends to flag them.  It fit perfectly under the image and I think the person i am sending it too will really like it.  Sometimes it's fun to send a card that they can open up and put on a desk or table to enjoy for the next week or so.  And it has lots of pretty flowers for spring on it too.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and enjoy your Easter weekend!!

Blog Hop with Quietfire Design and Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L

Hi everyone-- it's day 3 of our Blog Hop and giveaway with Quietfire Design/ Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.  It's my turn today to share one of my favorite new stamps with Quietfire called "May we all walk".  And it's from a brand new set called "A Bit of Fragrance".  With all the things going on the world today I think this is a perfect sentiment to share with everyone.

For my card i went with a simple layering technique overlapping different colors and layers of dies that coordinated with my flowers and the stamp that i picked.  I used lots of 3D Foam Squares to divide the layers and attach the flowers and a few small adhesive Dodz to attach the ribbon.  And of course to glue all the layers together i used my favorite EZ Runner Permanent Strip tape runner that i couldn't live without.  It's my absolute favorite.

And here is a closeup of the stamp and all the pretty layers i did with the foam squares.

There are lots of prizes too so be sure and hop on over to the Quietfire Blog and the Scrapbook Adhesives by3L blog today to see more ideas with all the new collections  and get in for a chance to win.....

Lacy in Pink

Sometimes you find a very special die that you really love because everything seems to work great in it.  This new die called "Isabella Frame" from Becca Feeken is one of those gorgeous dies you can use so many ways and this lovely sentiment from Quietfire Design works great inside of it don't you think.  The stamp is called "Where flowers bloom" and I adore this stamp because it so says alot about me personally and i am forever doing something and never standing still so I just had to use it.

I was rummaging around and cleaning up my scrap room and came across these gorgeous vintage papers that i had put away.  The paper colors layered really well over each other and the stamp i did in a rich cocoa to give it a nice vintage feel.

To finish my card i just added a few pretty flowers on the side and tied a cute bow with seam binding ribbon.  And wha la!!  It's all done and ready to mail.

And that's all for today but i have lots of things to share so be sure and check back soon.

Big Hugs...Teresa

2017 Queen of Hearts blog hop

Welcome to the Quietfire Design's 2017 Queen of Hearts Blog Hop.  This week we're celebrating the release of the new dies, stencils and stamps from Quietfire Design by sharing our best projects!!

Today i am sharing a card that i made with the new stamp release called "Always Believe".  I really love the sentiment on this card and it's such a nice one to send to a friend or colleague to give them a little encouragement in a tough time.

For my card i started with a plain white base and then cut a smaller bit of dark blackish grey to go over it.  Then i used a die to cut the pink rose backround paper and attached that with 3D Foam squares to the card base.

To make the top i cut it with a die and stamped my image in the center with black ink.  Then i embossed it with clear and let it dry for a few minutes.  To bring out the edges I used a sponge applicator and inked around the inside edges of the space with the die over it to slightly darken it.  And to make it pop out even more i die cut a smaller piece of the blackish grey paper and put it under the sentiment.

And i finished it with a few tiny rhinestones, some pink folliage and a pretty black satin bow trimmed in silver to match the rhinestones.

To see the entire new release be sure and check out the "what's new" on the website...

I know it's national card making day but i just couldn't resist using this tiny wood frame that i found this last week at my local hobby store to make a pretty off the page project and a card too.  The tiny wooden frame was the perfect size to use for the new sentiment and it would be a great gift to give too.

The new stamp is called "Sometimes I just look up" #6252.  I used both blue and white chalk paint to paint the 6" wood stand itself and then also painted a pretty chipboard frame from Gypsy Soul Laser cuts that i had in my stash.  Then i stamped the beautiful sentiment on white and used a circle die to cut it out.  To assemble it i glued on the circle to the back and then used 3D foam mini squares to add the frame to make it stand out.  Then i added some ribbon, flowers and pearls to the frame and just a bit of shimmer spray to make it glisten.  I think i might have to go back and get a few more of these little frames.... they would be perfect for all the Christmas sentiments that Quietfire has.

Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure and hope over to Suzanne's blog to see what she has to share!

Happy Hopping!  Good luck!

New Quietfire Stamps for August

Today i have a quick post to go along with all the new dies being launched
this week from Quietfire Design.  They also have a whole new collection of
"New Cling stamps" too and today i did a pretty card with one of them.

I picked this stamp because there is so many times that you want
to send a special little something to a friend and this could go so well
with whatever you decide to make for it.  I used pretty summery flower
papers with a bright red accent and stamped it in red to match.

Thanks for stopping over and I hope you have a really good day :)

Die-ing for Spring Blog hop for Quietfire Design

Hi everyone it's April Fools day today and it's our 3rd day on our fun hop to share
with you lots of new stamps and our brand new dies from Quietfire Design.

Today you will also be visiting Diana's blog so don't forget to hop over
and see what she has and if you just started today check out the list at the bottom
of my post to see where you should go for more amazing inspiration...

So today i have 2 cards for you to see.  One is my favorite by far of all the cards
i have done.  I adore G45 papers and i ordered this paper especially for this so
i was very pleased with how it came out with the aqua colors and the fairy :)

Quietfire has a brand new stamp called "Raindrops are like Fairy Whispers"
and it went perfect under my fairy that i found on the papers.  I created a
window type covering from one of the new Becca Feeken Spellbinders
dies that just came out called Swirl Bliss Pocket.  I cut it out of light ivory
paper and then tucked it carefully over the card part that i popped up with
foam dots.  It really makes the design pop like this, I love it!

And of course i had to add some raindrops and fairy dust to it
to make it all shiny and fairy garden like....... I stamped the sentiment
in black and embossed with clear and to make it match with the card more
i used just a touch of ink around the inside with a foam dauber.

And as promised-- here is my card using one of the brand new dies
that were just released.  They work amazing and i created this one so
that it has a pretty shadow behind it and then popped it up with 3D
foam dots.  The papers are from Basic Grey and so is the sticker.

Here is a closeup so that you can see how pretty the calligraphy looks.

Well that is all for me today but be sure and check back tomorrow for another
amazing sneak peak from Sherry and Suzanne!!
