Make a Wish Card

Hi friends and thank you for stopping by on this hot summer Thursday here in Cali.  I hope your part of the world is nicer and that you have had some time to make some pretty cards to send out to all your friends this summer.  I decided to make a few flat cards to mail because so often i have flowers and all kinds of things that make it so i have special envelopes to mail them.  This time it's just flat and it was so very easy and fast to make.

So for my card today i chose some bright and happy Fairy papers from Graphic 45 and used the brand new Vintage Treasure "Cannetille Rectangle" die from Becca Feeken's newest release.   There are lots of gorgeous pieces in the die set but i only chose the outside frame and the smallest piece to use as an accent on the two sides of my fairy.  It actually worked really well with all this printed paper and i love how pretty all the colors are.

And i added just a few clear rhinestones to the top and bottom of the frame.  And then of course to get all that fairy magic going i found my diamond stickles and dusted her wings with it.  My picture doesn't do it justice but it's really pretty in person.

Here is a photo of the die set.  You get 5 pieces and you can mix or match them anyway that you can imagine... even with other dies mixed in.  You all know that is a huge plus for me :)

And the packaging sample shows how it looks with just simple plain paper.
( I made that one too :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by and i hope this inspires you to get out some fun papers and all your Becca Feeken dies and have a fun afternoon in the air conditioning :)

 Hugs.... Teresa

Also we have a very special guest designer name Karan Gerber from Canada and she has a gorgeous project on her blog this week that you might want to pop over and see.

Congratulations

I really, really love these new Vintage Treasure dies and have had so much fun making lots of card to send to friends this month.  My card today is a mixture of 2 of the new dies.  The base is from the Antiquities Square die set and the front piece is from Cannetille Rectangle.  Don't ever be afraid to mix dies from older sets you have.  You are going to be surprised at how well they mix and how fun it is to get that extra mile from your dies.

My papers for todays card are from Pion. You can order them online here in the states from the Frantic Stamper and she has so many to chose from and they work perfectly with Becca's dies.  I love to use the smaller 6x6 sets because the prints are smaller and looks great mixed in the layers.

I had a small piece of vintage lace so i used that between the layers to soften it and added the same color flowers, ribbon and leaves to go with it.  The sentiment actually came with another set of papers i had and worked perfectly.  This one only needed a few pearls for the center and now it's ready to mail.  I love the lavenders in this card... it's one of my favorites.

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to stop by our Guest Designer for the month of July.. the Amazing Karan Gerber!!  She really has a magical way with using Becca's dies....

Have a wonderful day,
Teresa

Wishing you a very Happy Birthday

Hi and thank you so much for stopping by today for a little bit of card inspiration!  Today's card actually started off with a trip out for new papers-- which i found a few really cute pieces but it ended up with me using just classic off white and black and some of the brand new Glimmer Plates that Becca released.

For my card i used the Royal Flourish Looking Glass Frame mixed with the Gilded Nested Rectangles and the matching dies to cut them.  Simple layers with the focal point being the Looking Glass glimmer plate that i fussy cut in Silver with a few tiny rhinestones.

My sentiment fit perfectly in the center and just for fun i found a cute set of rhinestones in a strip so i used that at the top and bottom and cut one for the bow at the side.
I know exactly who gets this one at the end of the month for her birthday.

Here is a peek at the die and another cute sample card for you!

Thanks again for stopping by and hope to see you soon...

Teresa

Amazing Paper Grace July Die of the Month Blog Hop

We are all so excited to get to show you a new Amazing Paper Grace Die of the Month today.  For July Becca created Graceful Concertina.  It's a die that has tabs on the side so that you can link each panel together to make a concertina card.  Don't stop there though, there's much that can be made.  Cut the side tabs off to make a votive candle holder or a box or a book cover.  Please join us as we bring you more inspiration today on our hop.
With all of Becca's dies there is always so many more things that you can create besides just the obvious.  By layering it or just clipping it up and using it a different way you can make beautiful things to decorate your home, wow your friends and family.

My Project Today:

My first project is a really fancy card that i created out of some brand new Pion papers that i got from the Frantic Stamper.   This die is so beautiful and the gorgeous window it has can be filled with a sentiment or even a picture like i found on these papers . The details in the die are exquisite and the little girls reminds me of a little angel....

If you have been hopping with all the other girls on the team you will see how versatile that this die really is and how pretty it looks when it is attached together in groups.

My Second Project for today is:

This clear acetate box cover that i created by cutting the dies up just a little.  If you stop here enough you will see that i try to get all the miles i can from my dies and by cutting them up can do just that.

I took the arch die and cut 2 of them in white and then cut them in half and glued them together.  I glued that on my favorite Hemstitch Rectangle die to make the box top and added just the inside of the frame piece for the center.  And I didn't want to cover up all that beautiful detail so i stamped my sentiment on vellum and cut small photo corners to glue it down.  I really love this one.

I added lots of pretty flowers from my stash and a butterfly and then for the inside of the box i can fill it with treats and a gift card for my friend.  The papers are by Graphic 45 for this project.

Supply List:
Stamps:  Penny Black
Paper: Pion and Graphic 45 and Bazzill

Happy 4th of July !!

Today is a very special day for our country and we all should be very proud to celebrate our independence as a nation and all the freedoms that we have.
So of course i had to create a card today to share with all of you with the colors of our nations flag and a bit of glimmer since it's a holiday!!

For my card I used the new "Adorned Oval's Glimmer Plate by Becca Feeken and a subtle silver foil to mix with the solid red, white and blue. I also added just a touch of silver card stock between the layers.  This is one of my favorite dies in this brand new set because each of the 3 rings are so beatiful and ornate and you can mix them with other fancier dies you might already have or by themselves or just use a few on a darker card stock piece so that it really pops like i did.

This is what the die set looks like.  I love the designs in this set so much and making cards with this set is going to be so easy to do... You are going to love it!

And you all know that we had an Amazing Guest Designer named Kathy Clements last month for June who shared lots of beautiful things with us that she created.... Well--- this month we have another incredible Designer from Canada named Karen Gerber.  She has her first project up on her blog that you can see here....  You are going to love what she is sharing with us this month!!

Enjoy your day and if you haven't seen the foil plates by Becca be sure and check them out here..
