Six Ways to Use the Charming Cottage Year-Round Blog Hop

Hi and welcome to our Cottage Hop today with one of the new dies from the Charming Christmas Collection from Becca Feeken.  All of us had such fun with this die set and we found it is so versatile there are so many things that you can do with it.  The ideas are endless as you will see as you hop and the Cottages are so easy to make you are going to want to do some for all your parties and gift giving this year.

My first cottage i did as a traditional Gingerbread Cottage and i created this like you would a cookie house in tan and ivory.  Then i mixed in a bit of red for the doors and windows and added a small green bow and a few little swirls above the door and windows just like you would add the icing on a real gingerbread house.  These are a fun family tradition in our house to make for Christmas and this will be fun to give to everyone to take home filled with treats i make :)

Here is the die set so that you can see all the adorable pieces in the set that you have to use.
The Charming cottage die is available on the Spellbinders website and here is the link to it.

UK crafters can purchase it at https://hopeandchances.co.uk and although it has sold out, their stock is expected to come in soon and you can pre-order to make sure you get one.

And my second cottage is one of my favorites because of all the cute snowmen on it.  Bordered papers are great to use for these and you can mat the edges to make them pop and of course cut out cute tags from all the ones in the set to use them for gifts.

And graduations are always a good idea for little gift boxes.  Everyone has parties to celebrate their kids amazing accomplishments and this one was super easy with a 6x6 pad and stickers from Doodlebug Design.  I even added extra bling to really make it bright and festive.

And lastly i did a Halloween box in orange card and after you find out how easy these are to make you are going to love doing them for every occasion like us and this will be your next go to die!!
