What better way to start a Sat then by creating something gorgeous with dies from Becca Feeken. I have a really pretty card to share that i created this week with her new "Tiered Rosettes Etched Die set". I did alot of layering on this one so look close and see if you can see all the different dies i used. It's so much fun to use them in different ways and i even used printed papers this time to make it so that the die cuts would look more marbled. What do you think? It really makes the details in the dies stand out.
So to begin with you will need the new Julie Nutting 6x6 paper pad from Prima and you are going to cut out a pink die cut from the "Emmeline Treillage" die. Glue that on the pink and ivory printed paper and mat it with ivory like you see above. Then you can make a pink 2" border out of the same paper using just the edge of the Tiered Rosettes die and glue that down the center. And to make it even more fun i cut the XOXOXO border from the pink rose paper and put that down the center of the pink lacy border. Then you can mat it with light pink card stock and then glue it on an ivory card.
And for the rosette i used that same pink rose paper and cut two of the folded rosette piece and created that pretty rosette under the bow. They are super easy to make and you can layer them too. But--- i wanted my card to be really lacy--- so i created a big fluffy bow in pink bias ribbon and added a gorgeous brad from Prima in the center.
And to finish it off i cut/embossed a cute ivory tag stamped with For You from the "Graceful Tiny Tags set". It's fun to layer all the beautiful lacy patterns and if you mix them in the just the right way it really works together nicely.
And there is lots of other fun ideas you can do with this die so be sure and check the rest of the Amazing Paper Grace DT for other ideas this week. Enjoy your weekend!!
