Spellbinders and the New Sapphire Machine and dies...

If you haven't had the chance to see all the new Sapphire dies and the new machine
it's really going to wow you.  The machine is super small and portable and the cost
is amazing!!  And the dies-- well they are the cutest set of mini dies that you have ever
seen and they are great to use for everything.  I love that there are lots of simple
shapes and also sets of fun dies that you can mix and match to make lots of
projects to keep you busy this summer.

So with my dies i tried to explore the idea of just using them for decorative elements.
The Thank you card that i did above i used the PHD-017 Mini Fancy Tags One die and
i cut 3 of them in half and used it as a border on the sides on my card.  I love how deep
the embossing is and how pretty it makes the card look, even as simple as it is. And
the stamp is from one of my favorites from Stampendous clear stamps...

And for this card i cut a basic window pane base out of pretty papers
from Prima and then i cut/embossed the Labels Twenty Two die out of ivory
and dark brown paper.  Then i used the New PHD-011 Mini Medallion Two
die set and cut 4 of them in pink printed paper that matched it.  These i just
slid in under and on top of the corners to make decorative corners for my card.
The Stamp is a brand new release from Quietfire Design...

And lastly i used lots of the little medallions and the rectangle to create the
pieces for this beachy collage that i did for my Aloha card.  It was fun to make
and for it i used the Mini Flower One, Mini Medallion One and the Basic Rectangles.
It has lots of fun beachy elements and it makes me miss sitting at the beach all
summer with a good book and some great waves.....

All of these new dies you can get at your local Jo Ann's so be sure and pop
over and see all the other amazing ones that they have too for it.  You are going to
love using them.  And i guess that's all for today and be sure and visit the Spellbinders
Blog and all the rest of the team too for more ideas all this week.

Crafty Secrets Baby Plaque

Hi Crafty peeps it's another gorgeous Monday here in California and it's time
to share another fun project this week using the Crafty Secrets Digital CD's.

If you didn't know already Crafty Secrets also carries chipboard products
to buy too and lots of things that are already to cut and out and create with.
Today i used one of the chipboard shapes along with papers from the
Typography CD #3.  The sentiment is from the Words from the Heart-
Celebrations of Joy Quotes and Expressions book.  All i had to do was
fussy cut it out and add some matching ink to the center and sides of it.

The flowers are a mixture of things that i had in my box of goodies
and luckily i found enough that looked good to really make it fun.  And then
i punched 2 holes in the sides and added a pretty piece of seam binding
ribbon to hang it up with.  I hope you like it and be sure and check out
all the other amazing and fun products on the website here......

Sizzlin Summer with RRR

This is such the perfect name for a challenge... especially with the amazing color
choices in the new Ribbon Club samples this month.  There are so many pretty
bright colors in it and i had so much fun creating my card.

If you didn't have a chance to check out the blog hop this month be sure and
go back to here to see the other half of what i created.  This card was also part
of the new papers from Doodlebug and the pink and orange ribbons from
the Ribbon Club Assortment really went great with it.  I just went super simple
this time and layered all the pretty papers and matted them with white
between the colors.  The tag is also in the paper set and you get a few more
to use with it too that would be just adorable.

I also did a quick invite with a piece of flip flop paper that i had.  I fussy
cut around it and glued it to regular cardstock and then added that cute
little bow and a flower.  It was super easy and just goes to show ribbons
 really make the project :)

Thanks for stopping over and be sure and check out all the other ideas
this month for our challenge and be sure and hook up what you did to
share with all of us on the RRR Challenge blog... Have a great day!!

Ruby Rock-it and Clear Scraps together

Today i have a fun post to share for two special things.  Up on the Ruby Rock-it blog
all this week we are partnering with Clear Scraps and Thermoweb and it was really
fun.  I love doing clear books and projects because you always get a sneak peak
of what is coming behind it.  Today's project is going to be a book that i am going
to put all the photos from my Grandmothers 100th birthday party today.  Isn't that
just one of the most amazing things on this earth!!  I can't imagine how neat that is.

For my project i used the Heritage collection because of all the gorgeous colors
that it has in it and there are lots of butterflies and other amazing tags and
embellishments. I used the Clear Scraps Travel Brag Bag Album for my project
and it came with lots of clear pages and these cute tags that you see sticking up
on the top with ribbons. The front is a mixture of the quarters sheets that
i fussy cut and i added my own letters that i cut from a Spellbinders die to match.
The best part of sticking them on was an amazing adhesive tape runner
from Thermo web.  I couldn't have picked a better product to glide on the
back of each of the letters and the sticky is great on it.

On each of the pages i used the tags and cut outs in the collection and
left lots of places for photos from her big event. She had lots of family
and friends come over to celebrate with her so there are lots of photos.

I really love all the pretty prints and colors of this line :) It is
so bright and colorful and cheerful and really blends with anything.

Here are some more photos of the inside and all the pretty
tag cut ups and the die-cuts that i used for it. I think i might
have to add a few more pages but it will be easy with all the
rest of the papers that i still have.

And here is one of the last pages in the book with some of the
Heritage cut ups that i used to decorate it.  There were so many gorgeous
pieces in this package and i still have lots to make a few cards with. The
set also has these gorgeous butterfly 3D embellies and i used those on
a couple of pages to really make it gorgeous for her.

And if you have made a clear book then you can't live without zots to glue
down all the papers to it with.  These sticky little dots are amazing and
really keep your album stuck together good.

I hope you get a chance to shop all the Clear Scraps Albums...
and I hope you have fun making something special too.  Be sure and check
out all the other projects up this week on the Ruby Rock-it blog.

Have a wonderful day!!  Teresa

Crafty Secrets Spring Cards

I have been busy again printing up some gorgeous papers and tags with the Crafty
Secrets Digital Topography CD #3 and wanted to share them with you all today.
As always it was so much fun picking all the papers and images that i wanted
and printing how many sheets that i need for each and not going to a store.  I really
love the freedom of this and as you can see the papers are really pretty.

First i started with a fun digital print that had lots of angels and flowers
on it from the Creative Scraps Little Blessings.  And the mini vintage
DPCS 818 and 814.  I also printed out the light blue birds papers, the tan
print and the light pink print in the CD to match the images.  And then
i had lots of fun mixing and matching dies and ribbons to create my cards.

I really love the pretty patterns on this one.. it's super sweet and would be
great to send to anyone just to let them know you are thinking of them.

and for this one i used the border print and cut it so that it fit's
on both the front and the back.  It's a smaller card but utilizing the border
made it super quick and i only had to add a simple die to give it more
pizazz.  The brown ribbon and charm were from my stash.

And this one is my favorite.  I love how amazing all these papers print
up and the colors are just so pretty.  You are going to love them.  I have
a really old HP printer which shows you don't have to be so high tech.

This card is made with the same CD files and i used 3 Spellbinders
dies for it.  The Floral Ribbon Threader Card Creator for the blue,
Les Papillions Two for the ivory and Stately Circles for the ivory
one behind the Angels.  And just to mix it up a bit i just tied
the bottom with twill to give it a light and airy look.
All the ribbons you can get on Really Reasonable Ribbon so that
makes it really easy to do too.

Thank you for stopping over today and hope you stop by again soon.

It's time for the RRR Blog hop for June

Hi everyone and happy Saturday to all of you.... it's time for another fun hop
with all the girls from the RRR design team and this month we are creating
our projects for you with a Summer Brights theme.

Since the weather is getting warmer and we can get our barbecue's out I
decided to go with fun decorations that you could do for a luau.

If you started the hop at the beginning you should have come here
by way of the amazing Karen Letchworth ....

This was alot of fun with all these beautiful bright ribbons and i created a fun invite,
table name tags, sunshine drink glasses, crabby straws and some cute little flip flops
for the kids. All the ribbons are from the new Monthly Ribbon Club Assortment and
the papers that i used are from Doodlebugs new summer line called Sunkissed.

The dies for this are from the Spellbinders Inspire dies.  I used the Crabby die,
the Paradise Palms and the Western Sunshine die sets.

And for this cute little crabby card with the jute string tie i used another
Spellbinders die called Labels 22.  All these colors really make you want to smile :)
Now i guess i will have to schedule in a fun barbecue to use all of it.

And now it's time to hope again to Jenn's blog to see what magic
she has created for all of you....

Wedding page with Ruby Rock-it papers

Hi everyone--- it's so nice to have you stop over and see what's new with me.  It's
been a busy weekend at the castle and i need to post a few things i have been doing
so i did this page of my nephew and his bride and thought i would share it.

Ruby Rock-it has some gorgeous wedding papers out for this spring for all those
amazing projects you need to get made and i especially love this one in black
and white.  It's from the Bella Collection and called True Love.  I created a simple
base for my photos and then used rings with dies and open circles to signify eternity.
I used the silver glitter adhesive letters that came in the set too so that it would match
all the pretty bling that i put on it.

I esspecially love the sweet tag that was with this paper set.  It went so perfect
with the photo and how much they adore each other.  And the flowers are so
pretty too.  You can get all of this set on the website here....

And here is a quick close-up of their bling.  They have both
lace and strips of rhinestones in this set so it's great for using across
 the bottom under photos.

I have to run... lots and lots to get up and posted for this week so
i hope you have a wonderful day where ever you may live and thanks so
very much for taking the time to stop over.

Pretty spring flowers

It's finally Friday and the end of a long and busy week for me.  I had
lots of fun at work this week and met alot of amazing people as always
and it put me in great spirits so my crafty mojo was really good too.

Today i have one of many projects to share this month from Crafty
Secrets and i am really having lots of fun printing my own things with
their digital files.  It is so nice to be able to print another if you mess
up or if you just need a bit more for a brilliant idea that you come
up with in the middle of the night.

I made this pretty lilac flower card to send to my mother in law
because she really loves these pretty flowers and so do I.  I printed
the papers from both the Vintage patterns CD and the Vintage Topography
CD #3.  Each of the layers is a subtle print that is from the layer
on the very bottom of the card.  The die is from Spellbinders
and is called Grate Effect.  I cut and embosssed it in ivory so that it looked
like a pretty trellis with the flowers in the front.  And to finish it
i added pretty satin ribbons in pink and lavender to match it.

And i also did a second card with one of the other flowers on
the sheet that i printed out.  This one is a pretty sunflower and i
went a totally different way by using aqua's and tans to go with it.

I love these colors together and it really sets off the adorable little bird
and the flower in the picture.  And the pretty bias ribbons from RRR
are perfect with it too.  I think this one will go over to my grandma this
week with a long letter to say hi and catch up with things.

Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!!

Crafty Secrets Linky Party is up today...

It's the first of the month and time for another fun hop for all of us on the
Crafty Secrets Team... this month since Father's day is coming up we have lots
of neat projects to inspire you and i think you are going to really like them.

My father in law is a really good fisherman so i thought it would be fun to make
this bag with a few fun things to put inside of it.  He loves Bass Pro and a good
dinner at Cracker Barrel so what could be better right?

For the papers i used the green check, along with the brown diamond patterns
and then mixed that in with a few of the prints from the Vintage patterns CD.
And for the Happy Father's Day tag and the sentiment tag i cut them from the

And then to put inside i made a quick match book card to add a couple of
the gift cards i am getting for him.  The chicken wire paper was super cute..

Here are the links for all the other girls projects that they did so
be sure and hop on over and check all of them out.  You are
going to love all the inspiration that they will give you this month :)
