How fast time flys.....

The week has flown by again and it's Sunday already so I thought I had better put a few new things up from this very busy week. We had our Card Club and the theme this month was paper piecing. Lots of ideas for cricut pieces and sizzix and patterns that you can make up yourself. We all had fun and learned alot of fun techniques. It was great!

As to the rest of my life, I am catching up and everything is wonderful! The remodel has been pushed back 2 weeks but that just gives me more time to scrap and make cards! I made a few more with my new stamps from Lili of the Valley and will get those posted this week. They are all so very, very cute, I can't wait to make one of them all.

Thanks for stopping by....

New Cards from Penny Black

It's been crazy and tiring trying to pack up my entire kitchen this week and getting ready for the demo next Monday but I managed to get a few new cards in from the new Penny Black stamps we got in!

I used Copic markers on most of them but wanted to try some colored pencils and chalk on the Happy Birthday Wishes to you card. It's fun to change up a bit and add a few stickles here and there for glitter and of course some roses and buttons. I used Basic Grey papers and some from the new Imaginesce Splash Dance line. It has really pretty colors and great prints.

It's already June!

It's hard to believe that I had to flip my calendar to the next month already. It flys by so fast. Maybe it's my obsession with cards and everything else in my life. My new card is a stamp from Penny Black... I love her hedgehogs. They are so cute!

This week was exciting for my Nicole because they played their Powder puff football game against the Seniors. There were so many parents and people there and the girls were amazing!!!! They laugh at the cheerleaders sometimes but our team was filled with very athletic, rough and tumble amazing cheerleaders and girls from other sports teams. Nicole's best friend Alyssa scored all three of the touchdowns and got the name "the Beast" at the end. She was great!

The score was tied at the end, but the Juniors won as far as we were concerned!!! Go Juniors!!!!

Running like the wind....

It has been a crazy month but I managed to make a few cards for the ladies on the Cheer Booster Board for a thank you for all their hard work this year! I found a new company in England called Lily of the Valley Stamps! They are gorgeous and I want all of them-but maybe just a few at a time so my husband won't notice.... hee, hee, hee :)

We had a fabulous Cheer Luau Banquet and everyone had a really, really nice time. All the girls got awards and chocolate tiki suckers and choc. covered pretzels and the girls made special hawaiian lei's for each other! And they loved the memory books I was up all hours of the night creating :) It was totally all worth it and now I can get back to scrapping and making some fun cards!! Ya hoo..... T.

Happy Easter Bunnies!

Happy Easter to everyone! It was a beautiful day filled with flowers, wonderful music at church, delicious candy from See's, family lunches, and a fun ride in my brother in laws 1931 Ford Model T with a rumble seat. We had so much fun riding around and yes I am way happier with my car. It is very windy sitting in the back of the rumble seat!!! Yikes....

Anyway- I had to make one more card before the Stampavie deadline tonight and before I have to get back to work tomorrow! I love pink and turquoise and this was just quick and easy with chalk and colored pencils and Basic Grey papers. Hope you like it!
