And they lived....Happily Ever After

Hi and happy Saturday to all of you... sorry i haven't done a post with the new APG dies for last week, we have been busy working on Becca's newest release called "Romancing the Swirl" which is going to be released next month and is it ever beautiful.  But this week i had some time to created these 3 really fun projects out of the 3D Vignettes Happily Ever After set so i thought i would share these with all of you this week to give you a little wedding day inspiration.

I so wish i had these die sets when my daughter got married last year because all of them are so gorgeous and there is so much that you can do with them.  Above i created a simple blocked backround card in this pretty lavender pansy print and then created a 3D little window with the Happily Ever After die set to put in the center with a pretty ribbon.  This die also comes with those cute little flowers that you see and you can mold them to make them more fancy or just die cut them flat and use them with pearls to decorate your projects.

And then i had this idea to make a Z card that can be folded up to make a wedding scene.  I love this one because i got to add other dies from Becca's amazing set and you can gently fold this up and put it into an envelope to mail.  I used the same papers to get more use out of them and it really makes it pop with the purple but you can use any color scheme to go with your wedding plans.  The card is only an A2 and it's so cute the recipient can keep it out to decorate and remember that fun day for just a little while longer.

For this Z card i also added my favorite Petite double bow die on the top back over the Filigree Veil die cut.  I also used a piece of it for the front and added flowers on it.  Don't be afraid to mix and match the dies to create really pretty textures and architectural elements to your projects.

And lastly i made one of the Grand Cabinet 3D Vignette die set and the Layered Happily Ever After die set for the center.  All of our team has shared lots of ideas in the past weeks using these dies so be sure and stop by Becca's blog for a quick video if you need to see how it's made.  They go together really nicely and the person that you give one of these amazing cards too is going to love it.

So I hope you liked my share for you this week.  There is lots of ideas so be sure and pop over to the Spellbinders website to pick up a few for all those weddings the spring and summer!

Have a really wonderful weekend.... Teresa

Bundle of Joy card and Invitation

Hi and welcome to my blog on this beautiful Saturday.  This week for our Amazing Paper Grace team we get to make anything we want so i jumped at the chance to use these beautiful 3D Grand Arch dies for a baby project.  And i love, love, love pink so i put them both together and this is what i came up with.  I actually did the insides of the book with just ivory papers and then did the jacket of my 3D book with pink papers.  This gave it a little bit more depth and i added pretty flowers that i had in my stash to the bottom front for a sweeter baby feel.  Sometimes you just run out of time so it's good to use what you have or if you have to make alot of them in a short time.

And for the inside of the Bundle of Joy die set i chalked the wings just ever so slightly and added just a touch of pink at the top and the bottom of the words to make it stand out more.  And of course bling.  I just love all the beautiful details of this die set and who wouldn't want to get one of these beautiful cards in the mail or at their next shower?  They have me hooked for sure.. i love this die set.

And for this project because of course i had to do another to share with this set... i made a invitation for a shower.  For this i created a gated card with just a simple layer of pink on the top of each side.  Then i used the Ornamental Arch to create the center of the band and put the Layered Bundle of Joy die set in pink and ivory in the center.  And that cute little set of baby feet is also included in the die set so i just cut that out in the top by itself.  It is so cute!!  And did you know that you even get the extra rattle that i cut to put on other things too?  It's such a cute set and I love how all of this goes together.  It's amazing and that is why i am always so blown away with each die that Becca designs.  I love that all of them can be used together like this... Even the little band on my project had a cut from tiered rosettes edges.  Yep it's pretty amazing and i just can't say it enough about all of it.

Thanks for stopping by today and i hope you all have a lovely weekend.
If you make something fun be sure and post it here so i can stop over to see you too
or just to let me know that you stopped over for a peek!

Hugs..... Teresa

Changing your destiny....

It's Saturday and time for another project idea using the new dies from Becca Feeken's 3D Vinettes collection that was just released.  This week we are sharing lots of ideas on making flowers for your cards and projects so i decided to make mine fun and cut them from polka dotted vellum to go with my sentiment.

I used neutral tones and white to create my card with lots and lots of layers.  I used the Nestabilities Hemstitch Rectangles to make the base and then layered on a double cut piece of the Tiara Rondelle to make it thicker and easier to adhere to the card.  The Quietfire stamp i did with Black Versafine ink and then embossed it with clear to make it pop more.  It's neat how just that small rectangle under the sentiment really makes it stand out more without really showing up too much.

And for the flowers i thought since i used the polka dot for the sentiment i would cut my blossoms and layer them with pretty white stamens in the centers and then mix in some smaller flowers from the bridal set and the Isadora Trinkets set with just plain white card stock.  It's nice to have different styles of dies so that if you need something special for a specific project you can just make it up yourself.  That is what makes dies so fun to use!!

Thank you so much for stopping by and be sure and see all the other girls on our team this week with all of their ideas too.  You are going to love them!

Happy Saturday everyone..... Teresa
