Queen of Hearts Blog Hop

Welcome to our Queen of Hearts Event!
We are all celebrating this week with projects filled with
love inspired stamps to make for family and friends either
for Valentines or just to give to someone to show how much
you care about them or love them.

Today I am sharing a card that I made with the true Queen
of Hearts theme in mind.  I adore Alice in Wonderland
so I made my card with lots of Red roses, white, black
and silver mirrored cardstock to really make it special.

To make my card I layered simple cardstock in red
and white and then I added a layer of vellum that
has a subtle silver design in it and tiny hearts too.

For my stamp I used the Happy Valentines Day
from the new Gentle Thoughts set #6428 below
and stamped it in black Versafine Ink from Tsukineko
and embossed it with clear to really make it stand out.

There are lots of great sentiments in this set and
you can use them other times of the year too.

I also used one of the Brand New Dies from Spellbinders
called Tranquil Moments in the silver cardstock and made
lots of red roses and leaves with the Bitty Blossoms Rose
and Foliage dies that are available online too.

Here is our Blog Hop Schedule and the dates each

This creation of Teresa's has to be one of the most elegant, and beautiful cards I have ever seen. I just love what you have done so much that I am ordering the supplies from Suzanne as we speak... I only hope I can create something half as lovely as you have. You must be super proud of what you have done.
