Fun little Halloween Banner from CS

Happy Tuesday and thank you for taking the time to stop over.  I am getting in the mood
here for Halloween and fall since we finally changed seasons and i made up another
cute little banner to decorate the house.

It's always hard to get a good photo so i did a few closeups too so you can
see all the cute papers and other goodies that i used for it.  I mixed lots of
Halloween prints and colors to match the little pictures and lots of ribbons
to tie on the tulle that i laced it with.  I wanted to make something bright
and different and i really like the way this came out.

All of it was done with the Halloween CD #4 from Crafty Secrets and i used
a few dies to cut the papers to give it a little more pizazz!!  The cute little images
are from the CS Creative Scraps that i cut apart.  Then i added lots of cute ribbons
from Really Reasonable Ribbons new halloween set and that was it.  I hung it
it up by the door with lots of other fun goodies to be ready for trick or treaters.

Hope you have fun making something for your house too and thanks
so much for stopping by... have a wonderful day :)

Fun Crafty Secrets Halloween Set

I love the fall season with all the gorgeous colors and everything else that goes
along with it.  And since Halloween is just around the corner i decided to make
up a few of the fun little treat boxes and a wall hanging from the CS
Halloween CD #4 that you can print out yourself for family and friends.

So my first project to share is the cute little pumpkin girl door hanger
that i created.  It's just layered paper and ribbons but it's a fun little festive
piece of art i can add to my house to make it more festive.  All the papers
and the image was printed from the CD i added a little bit of orange and
green stickles to make it shine more.

And this cute little house is already printed with all those cute little
images on it and all you have to do is scor it and cut it out.  It's super cute!

And this little treat box is the same... and it was so easy to do.  The best
part is you can print lots of them so that you can pass them out to everyone.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Challenge for September

It's time again for another fun challenge over on the RRR challenge this month.  This
time the theme is "Orange you glad it's Autumn" and it was super fun and easy
with all the amazing ribbons they have to sell in the store.

I used two of the new ribbons that you get in the September Ribbon club Assortment
as my oranges and papers from Crafty Secrets Halloween CD #4.  It
was fun to layer all the papers and that cute little image i printed and
since i did my own papers i can make lots of them to send out this year.

Be sure and check out all the other cute samples up on the
Really Reasonable Challenge this month and enter one of yours

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop for September

It's time again for a fun peek into Halloween this year with all the girls from the RRR Design Team today.  I have a cute little book that i made up for this year to put some fun photos of our adventures.

So if you are following the hop than you should have arrived from "Karen's blog"....
and now we can get started on my project for today

I dug deep in my stash for a few things to create this little book with these stickers
with Linus from the Great Pumpkin show.  I used papers from a We R  6x6 paper pad and
decorated each page to add photos in.  It's alot of different bits and pieces but the ribbons
from the "Ribbon Club Assortment" really set it off on the side.

Here is a quick closeup of the clock and the stickers.

And here is a photo of the ribbons that we have this month!

All of them were so fun to use and I know that you will find lots
of fun candy wraps and boxes to use your extra ribbons up too...

Be sure and hop on over to "Jenn's blog" to see what she did and i hope
you get lots of fun ideas from our hop this month to do for your family!

Crafty Secrets Halloween ideas

Hi Everyone and I am so happy that you dropped by today.  This month
for Crafty Secrets we get to start using some of the adorable images and
papers for Halloween and today i have a few things that i made with the

To start my projects i printed lots of the printed papers from the Halloween
CD in orange, greens and purples.  For the Fortune telling bookmark i used
one of the images from the "Halloween Images and Journal notes". It was super
easy to make just by matting the image and adding pretty ribbons to it.

And for my card i used the papers and added the Halloween Greetings image
from the Creative Scraps Halloween page.  "Vintage Cuts Halloween" is also
a fun one to use for cards and things... there is lots of cute images on both. I also
used Tsukineko Chalk ink in black to make the edges stand out more.  This is
a quick and easy idea so that you don't have to mat them.

And lastly this cute little treat box is a printable that you just print out
as many as you want, score them and fill them with goodies to give.
It was super easy and i even cut a few scraps to line the inside with.

Thanks so much for stopping over and hope you have an
amazing weekend.  It's off to the castle for me today to meet princess
so it should be a really fun day!!  Take care... Teresa

Crafty Secrets Blog Hop for September

Hi Everyone and thanks so much for stopping over today to see what
is new with Crafty Secrets this month.  Our theme is "Too Cute to Spook" and
we have lots of fun projects to decorate and celebrate Halloween to inspire you.

For my pocket card today i used a really fun paper doll image from the
Creating with Vintage CD #4.  It has so many cute papers and tags and
other fun goodies in it to print out. I used 4 of the printed papers for the outside
and to create the inside pocket.  And i printed up a page of the Halloween
bingo cards so i could use this cute one for my sentiment.  The die i cut
out of printed orange dot paper from the Cd and layered them on the front.
And i finished it with the cutest little paper doll witch i have ever seen.

The cute little image has 2 other outfits on the page that you can print
and i cut both of them out and put them in the pocket with a gift card
for ice cream.  The ribbons area both from Really Reasonable Ribbon.com.

Be sure and check out the website for more photos and ideas with this
fun CD and if you are just starting the hop be sure and go to all the
other girls to see what they created for you too.

Have a really wonderful holiday... Teresa

September Craft Hoarders Blog Hop is up today

Welcome to the September Craft Hoarders Anonymous Hop! You should be coming to my blog from Wendi Robinsons Blog.  After visiting me, hop over to Kathy Clements Blog next! To start at the beginning of the hop, and for the full list of Bloggers, go to Gloria's Blog...

We have some fabulous ideas for you today with all the goodies we collect in our stashes, which by the way is a whole lot of good things.

So for my project i started with this Tim Holtz folder made of kraft heavy weight cardstock and i created a kind of family keepsake to hold all the neat things we have of our grandmother that just passed away this summer.  She made it to be 100 and they had an amazing party for her and it was so fun but sadly she will be missed by all of us.  Especially me because she loved to craft too :)

Products for the front: Spellbinders: Oval Floral, Sprigs and Majestic Oval, Prima flowers, Maja papers, Glass Bead Glitter gel from Faber Castell (it's my favorite thing) and the Grove tool to grunge it all up. Oh and i used a little but of white chalk ink in the stencil in the back round too.

Since i wanted to put more than just photos in my book i kept all the pages loose so that i could write things on the back and maybe attach old letters from her and recipes that we found.  I have lots more photos to put in but i thought someday i would love my grandchildren to see a neat book with stories and photos of their great great grandmother so they could learn the amazing things about her too.

The papers i used for this are from Maja Designs (Sweden) and they are absolutly gorgeous.  I love the quality of them and each set has amazing designs that make it super easy to create an amazing keepsake for your family.  I used the Vintage Autumn Basics set and the Vintage Summer Basics set.
Each of them has beautiful vintage color browns and blues and well i just can't say enough about it.

And i also threw in some cards for journaling from 7 gypsies that i picked up and the rose die is from Spellbinders and is called .   The butterfly is from Prima and the cute family tag is from Echo Park.

For this page i used more ribbons from my Really Reasonable Ribbon stash, some paper clips to hold on the page and the Best of Times stamp from 7 gypsies in Versafine ink to match.

I really love these papers and it made the photo look so good.  This is all five of the sisters together in their house in Salem.  It's neat because the house is still there and we go by every time we visit. I can't wait to finish printing all the photos and ask everyone for their memories of her to put inside.  It's really going to be something neat to have and share with everyone.

The page is really special because i added buttons from her button box.  I wish i new who's shirt or clothes these came off, oh what a story it could tell. The clocks i used to show all the time that she was here on this earth being the wonderful grandma that she was... 100 years is along time and i am so glad that i will have a special page to tell about her party and that wonderful milestone.

Thanks for hopping over to see what i did and be sure and check out the other girls this
month too.  I am sure they will inspire you with what they do :)  Happy Saturday!!
