Fun Tag with Tsukineko and stencils...

Getting messy with fun products from Tsukineko and Crafty Secrets is
a really fun thing to do.  At the show this year i was lucky enough to
stumble up these neat embossing gels from Tsukineko and thought i would
mix it up a little and make a fun tag to share with all of you....

To get started i used a huge tag from my stash and a Prima Stencil.  I used a
small spatula and spread out the CM Metallics in layers over the tag and then
head embossed it so that it would set.  Then a took a little ink in the colors
that i have below and distressed it around the edges and over the dots
to make them pop more.  This is a super neat product and I can't wait to
try it again for something else real soon.

The tag i used from Crafty Secrets is from the Summertime Images
and Journal notes book and the Friendship words is from the Words of Heart
book called Celebrations of Joy.  Both have super cute images in them and
i loved this to make a gift tag with.

The flowers i cut with a Spellbinders die called Bitty Blossoms
and inked them to match the circles.  And to finish it i used pretty
seam binding ribbon from RRR and a bit of string jute in ivory.

I hope you like it and thanks so much for stopping by...

1st Cardabilites post up for today

It's time again for another new amazing sketch up on the Cardabilites blog
today.  Our new sketch is a fun one and i used lots of my favorite dies
and some fun Bo Bunny papers that i had in my stash.  We have a
wonderful sponsor for our prize this month from The Stamping Boutique
so be sure and share your card with us on the Cardabilites blog and that
way you have chance to win and get lots of inspiration too!

For my card i used one of the gorgeous fairy stamps that they had and
copied it a few times on my paper that i printed out so that i could layer
it to give it more depth.  I colored it with copic markers and used
diamond stickles to make it sparkle on the wings and on the flower.

Here is a photo of the sketch.  I changed it just a little bit so
that i could make the most of the digital design that i had.

And here is a closeup of the dies that i used for it.  I used different
Spellbinders dies and layered each of them so that i would get pretty
layered patterns with each of the colors.  I love this because it's bright
and filled with lots of pretty springtime colors.  One of my favorite
new dies is called Diamondessence and another one called Interlocking love
that i used for the border in green-- is so versatile and pretty.

And here is another card that i did with the same sketch and lots of
pretty flowers in my stash.  The papers for this are from Pion in Sweden
and i just love them.  I wish they made fabric just like it so that i could
decorate my scrapbook room with it.  I just love the Shabby Chic
look of things.  One of my favorite is called Royal Circle and it's
layered with a Scalloped circle and the Pierced Circles dies.  I really
love this one.  So that's all for today but don't forget to join us and
link up with your favorite design using the sketch to play along.

Have a really wonderful day.... Teresa

Cardabilites #91

Happy Monday everyone... today is a quick post
to join in the new Cardabilities challenge this week.
It was quick and I had fun using some of the stamps
and things that I had in my stash so that was good!

I layered everything pretty much the same but
changed the file tab to 2 pieces of layered paper
and then stamped my butterflies with a mix of
Momento and Versa Magic inks to get the dark
edges on them.  I also embossed them with clear
so they had a little bit of a shine.  The stamps
are from 7 gypsies and Studio G.  Oh and to get
the tiny word print on both ends I stamped with
a really old Sizzix stamp set but you could use
anything that you have in your stash too.
I hope you have a chance to make up a card too
and download it :)  You never know, you could
get picked for the card challenge winner !!

Have a great day,
Teresa

Momento Luxe Ink card

I just found my favorite new ink and it works amazing.
It is by Tsukineko and is called Momento Luxe.
It has great color and stamps really clear and comes
in lots and lots of colors.  Couldn't get any better than that!

so I went for my walk the other day and the leaves are
starting to fall so it got me all in the mood to do a new fall
card to share today with you.

This one is super quick and all you need for it
is some fall colored papers and flowers. The papers are from Authentique
new fall line called Seasons: Autumn.  I used one of the cream sheets
in the 6x6 pad to emboss with Spellbinders ES-006 So Trendy
and the #4 die in Leafy Squares set to make the backround.
I layered this on pretty pieces of plaid and rusty red printed
cardstock.  I tied a pretty crushed ivory bow and added lots
of pretty fall flowers and leaves to it.

To finish it I Cut/ Embossed a tag from Fancy Framed Tags Two
and I stamped it with the Momento Luxe ink in Rubarb Stalk. Then
I embossed it with clear embossing powder to make it pop. The
stamp I used from an amazing new company that is working
with Spellbinders called Fun Stampers Journey.  If you haven't
tried their stamps be sure and get a few.. They work amazingly good!!

I really love these colors and so love this time of year
with all the pumpkins, apples picking and other fun
things to do everywhere.  Thanks for stopping over and have
a really great day :)
