Just Knowing you...

I can't believe it's already the start of a new week but i hope that you all had a really nice weekend with your family and friends and maybe even got in a little Christmas shopping.

Today i have a new card to share that i made this weekend with a fun combination of Becca Feeken's new Chantilly Lace dies.  For this one i used the Bella Rose Lattice die to make the backround base in ivory and then over that i layered that pretty filigree die piece from the Coraline's Chemise layering die set and then i added one of the smallest Breanna's Corset labels to stamp my sentiment on.  It's the perfect mix of beautiful embossed die cuts and they all go so well together.

The stamp i used is from a new set from Penny Black that i just got and it's fits perfect.  I love the soft colors of the Maja Design paper too and it really gives it a pretty feminine flair to it with all the flowers.  It's always nice to have friends cards on hand to send out when you need them.

Thank you so much for stopping over... enjoy your day!

Gift Boxes for Christmas

Today i am sharing a pretty Christmas gift box that i covered made with dies from Becca Feeken's new die set called "Chantilly Paper Lace".  I love to get the most from my dies so today i combined one from the last release and 2 from this new release called Bella Rose Lattice Layering Frame and the Annabelle's Trousseau Layering Frame.  All of them are amazing together but i really had fun creating this sweet box with some of my favorite papers from Maja Designs.

So to make this you will need the Hemstitch Rectangle for the base in blue.  Then cut just the center of the Bella Rose Lattice die for the lighter snowflake layer.  And on top of that i put just that little edging from the Annabelle's Trousseau layering frame.  These gave the layers a lovely contrast and really made the last center stamped piece stand out.  And since i wanted it to be more Christmas themed I added tiny poinsettia's that i die cut in matching paper and inked around the edges.  And of course lots of pretty rhinestones to make it pretty and magical like the season.

The gorgeous stamp is from a new set of Penny Black christmas stamps and was just perfect to match with the delicate snowflakes in the papers.  I just love when things go together so pretty!!  Can't wait to give this one away to someone special.....

Have a very wonderful and crafty day!

Keep in touch

Of all the cards that i have made with Becca's new Chantilly Paper Lace dies this is my favorite!  I wanted to make a card with that old fashioned feel of long ago so i chose muted shades of peach and tan and mixed them with an oh so subtle ivory to cut the dies in.  This die set is called
"Talullah Frill Layering Die and it's also the one i used for the blue box this month.  Isn't it amazing how colors can change the way your projects come out.

Again i can't enough about all the gorgeous details in this die set and how pretty it comes out by adding lots of flowers and pearls to it.  And it's always nice to have a pretty card on hand to send to someone special that you miss talking to.

Thank you so much for stopping by this week!!

Nice to have a Good Friend

Today i am sharing a pretty card that i did with two of the new dies from Becca Feeken.  There is a brand new release that we are sharing all this month of November called Chantilly Paper Lace and I thought it would be good to use some of the other dies in the past release so that you can mix them.

This was my blog hop die called "Nestabilities Hemstitch Ovals" but i really adore it and had to use it again.  I found a really pretty sentiment in my stash from Penny Black that fit perfectly on the beautiful label so i thought i would keep it simple and add a backround from the Emmeline Treillage die in ivory and tan to make it pop.

I wanted to use fall colors so i used ivory, tan and a beautiful rich burgundy to frame the dies.  The Good Friends stamp i used with Archival Ink in Sepia and embossed it with clear embossing powder so that the writing would be more defined.  The gorgeous dies really made this card... don't you love it?

And here's a closeup of the stamp and the pretty oval die.  This combo would work so well together with lots of themes.. even Christmas and wedding would be wonderful.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope to see you back again soon!!
