Cardabilites #98 is up today....

Today we all have another fun sketch to share today with all
or you on Cardabilites and boy is it ever cute... I had lots of fun
with this one and did a couple of cards with it to share with you.

For my Gracias card i kept pretty true to the sketch and
used a new vintage paper pad from Authentique
called Classic Elegant.  I also used a die set from
Spellbinders called Romantic Rectangles 2 to make
the outside edge of the card.  The little medallion
was from 2 dies sets.  They are Floral Doily Motifs
and also the circle from Stately Circles.  I love how
this came out and love the Victorian look to it.  I know
it's a surprise LOL... i just love lace and flowers....

The little tiny flowers are from one of my
new favorite places to order Really Reasonable Ribbon.

My second card to share today is using another
new pad that i got from Doodlebug Designs called
Sugar Shoppe.  i used lots of cute little patterns
and a Die D-Lite from Spellbinders called Medallion 8.
I added a few more flags and some pink twine that i
had in my stash and a flower and a sticker to finish
up the center of the medallion.  I love these colors
alot and i love my lace and flowers too....

Hope you like what i have and don't forget to come
and join us over on Cardabilites or just get inspired
by all the beautiful things everyone shares :)

Spring is time for flowers and Butterflies..

There are lots of new dies coming out from Spellbinders
and some really pretty Butterfly dies too so today i thought
I would share a quick card that has one of the brand new
Die D-Lites called Flutters and another of my favorite dies
called Elegant Ovals.  This is a really great die and alot of
my stamps fit inside really perfect!!

So to get right to it- today i just layered lots of papers from
a MME paper pad and I cut and embossed Sentiments One in
white and for the Butterfly i used Flutters  in two colors.
For the ovals in the back round i used the Elegant Ovals die set
and cut/embossed them in different patterns to layer them.

I know this is quick and I hope you like it...
there will be other fun things i am posting this week and next
so be sure and stop back to see what is new :)

Happy Crafty Saturday

Good morning everyone, today we has an unexpected surprise
to wake up to after the rain last night.  I know all of you that live
in the snow pretty much don't like it at all but our local mountains
have snow all over the tops and it is so pretty.  For us not having
much rain this is such a wonderful surprise.  And so was the rain.
Now my gardens and all the flowers i have growing will be
happy with the clean rain that just poured on them all night!!

Today i am getting lots of projects done and a fun Mother's
Day gift card box for Scrap N Yap on May 3rd.  If you have
a chance be sure and sign up there to get a kit.  I am using
a new stamp from Stampendous and the box and card are so cute!

And I wanted to share a couple of cards that i have been
working on in between other projects for DTs.

This was a really simple card that i did using a preprinted
tag for the top and then i layered on a doily from SB in
white and tied on a pretty pink ribbon from RRR store :)
I really love the patterns and colors for this one and
I think i will have to gather a few more things up in
my stash to make up some more to have ready...

And for this card i used a new die from SB called
Modern Stationery  to cut the base of the card in ivory
cardstock and then i used some plaid/solid papers
and buttons that i had in my stash to create a border.
The stamp is one of my favorite from Verve stamps
and it too was really simple and quick to make.

Thanks for popping over and it's time for me to get
back to finishing up some more projects but i hope
you all have a fun and crafty weekend....

Lots of Hugs and Smiles today!!

Pretty in Pink...

I was thinking it's about Prom time next month so why not
start early and create something for yourself for that special date
or even a gift for Mom's day coming up.  I decided to go with some
new silver pieces that i got and i did a heart locket necklace
and a choker for all those bohemian fans out there.

For my first necklace i used some smokey pink quartz beads
and wrapped them with silver 20 gauge wire and tiny silver
beads.  And then i joined them with jump rings for something
different.  The toggles were so pretty i decided to put it
on the side and run the chain around the back.  I thought it
would be prettier to see it with the heart locket just because it
matches so well. What do you think... I really love it. This one
took a bit of time to wrap the beads but it was fun and relaxing.

And for my next project i made a pretty choker necklace with ribbon.
It was really fast and super easy to make. To start I  joined 5 silver filigree
pieces with silver jump rings and added these really pretty little
rhinestone danglers in-between them to make it glisten more.
And then i added some pretty pink and turquoise rhinestones
to each of the filigree pieces and let it dry.  Then you can either
stitch the piece to the ribbon or just use some good adhesive
like i did to attach the pieces.  It was simple and easy and there
is so many things that you could add to it if you wanted to.

Here is a list of the things that you will need from the
Butterbee Scraps shop to make them:

C25-P Silver Filigree Embellishment
Small Rhinestone Charms
hematite rhinestones flat bottom in pink
Silver Jump Rings
Heart Lock and Key in Silver
CL-462-P Silver Toggles

other things i used: Pink Ribbon, silver chain, adhesives,
jewelry tools, and silver 20 gauge wire.

That's all for today i am trying to catch up and get ahead for
some traveling i have to do next week but i will have lots of things
posted up for inspiration that i am doing.  I hope you all
have a really great day and make something beautiful!!

Butterbee Scraps and Baby charms

I have a few more things as promised to share with all of you using
some of the other baby charms in the set from Butterbee Scraps.
This set has such cute little things in it and i think i am going
to have to order some more of them for other projects i have
in mind to make this summer.

For my first project i made a mother's day card to send to my friend
because she already has 2 other kids and i think i should celebrate
her and those other 2 also.  I used some Spellbinders Die D-lites dies
for the card and tied a pretty bow through it and used one of the silver
flowers and a pink rhinestone that i got from Butterbee Scraps.

I wanted to give her a gift card so i found a cute pattern online
and hand cut it out and used one of the diaper pin charms at the top
to finish it with a flower.  And I also bought some super soft socks
and decorated them with ribbons and sewed on one of the charms
to decorate them.  Aren't they just so cute and the quality is so good.
You are going to love using these for your projects...

And lastly i painted a heart box that i found to match
and i am thinking she can put all those tiny first year
treasures into it to save forever.  I painted 2 of the flowers
in the Butterbee shop with white paint and then painted it
again with pink paint to match the box.  I added some ribbons
and another charm from the Heart collection in the shop.

Here is a list of supplies that i used for them:

and there is lots of new charms and products in the
Butterbee store this week so be sure and stop over and see
everything that's new!!  Hope you like what i shared
and i will be back next week with some fun
projects using the Tea Charms....

Oh and just one more thing---all the ribbons are from

Cardabilites #97 is up today...

I can honestly say i just love using Karan's sketches.  There is so
much you can do with them and it is amazing what our team comes
up with each time with their take on it.  For my card today i wanted
to use a new Simple Stories pad that i got called DIY boutique
with lots of bright colors and fun little patterns in it.

To begin to make my card i started by using a bright blue
paper on my backround and then put a layer of word paper
matted in white on top with foam squares and then created
a framed border to go around the center design in the bright pink
with Spellbinders Labels 34.  The rest of the center i layered
tiny flags with matching colored papers and a tag in the set
and then i made that cute little flower
with another Spellbinders Die D-lites set called Blooms Four.

Here is the sketch for you so that you can join
along with us over on Cardabilites this time....

Thanks for stopping over and see you next time...

Sweet Baby Girl Shower with Butterbee Charms

Hi Everyone, it is Wednesday already so i have something
brand new to share with you from Butterbee Scraps.  I
have been using lots of their charms lately and got an amazing
set of charms called Baby Steps and got so inspired to create
some things for a friend and her new baby girl on the way.
I am sharing 3 of them today and then i have 4 more things
to share with you next Wednesday so be sure and check back
because they are sooooo cute!  So let's get started then :)

The first three things i want to share is the card i did
to send her and a baby shoe with the cutest little feet
charm on it.  And a pin for her to wear.....

The charm set is called Baby Steps and has 10 charms
in the set.  I am not using all of them this week but i will have
other projects using them next Wednesday. I also used a few
rhinestones and some silver jump rings to attach the charms with.

I think this was one of my favorite things....
I just love this pin.  To make it you will need
all the things below and your jewelry tools
to put everything together with. I used the wire
to attach the pearls and crystals on to the top
of the pin.  It seemed to work better wrapped
rather than just dangle and shake all around.
To hang the charms at the bottom I attached a
lobster claw and jump rings on the charms.
It would also be great to give to your Mom to
wear for Mother's Day Brunch just to show how
much you care and love her.... maybe change out
the bottom charms with flowers or hearts from the
other sets available in the shop here.....

Here is a close up of the card and the cute
little stork charm. I used a brand new Spellbinders die set called
A2 Tranquil Moments. All my projects are from a New 6x6 pad
from Carta Bella called Baby Mine. and.... I had a sticker for the
sentiment that was so cute and the flowers and ribbon
i got from a new online store that is amazing
called Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Great products and they
send everything out super quick so what more could you ask for.

That's all for today and i hope you liked my projects
and i love to hear from you so please don't be shy ok :)

Have a great day... and miles of smiles!!

Thinking of You Card

Hi Everyone and happy Monday to all of you!
I had a busy week and weekend with projects and
classes and a fun afternoon with my mom at the theatre
to see a fabulous play called Harmony yesterday.  It was really,
really good and the music was fantastic so i would highly
recommend it if you love theater.  We also are going to
see Porgy and Bess soon and i am sure it will be just as good.

And today i want to share one of the cards that i have
been creating with the new dies that Spellbinders is
releasing and a new stamp set that i got from Justrite Papercrafts.

I was cleaning again and ran across this paper from G45
and thought that it would make up really well using the
Stately Circles Die and the Lacey Circles to frame the sentiment.

To make the card i used the diamond border for the backround and
a smaller piece to go across the middle of the tan print.  Then i cut
2 black circles in the Stately Circles and another white one with
the same size lacey ovals.  The stamp set from Justrite is called
Magnolia Vintage Labels Seven and i stamped it on printed
cream paper in black in and embossed it.  Then i took just a little
bit of distress ink and went around the edges and left the tag
clear so that the sentiment would really pop. I assembled the
pieces by layering them with 3D foam squares and then added a pretty
silk ribbon and a button that i had in my stash.  I really love how
this G45 line works in cards.  Everything really pops and of course
the stamps are more than beautiful too.

It's a quick post today i know--- i am off to take on of my pups
in to the groomers and then lots of crafting for me today.  I hope you
have a wonderful day and make something fun too.
 Lots of Hugs... Teresa
