Cardabilites #104 is up today...

Sadly today is my last post for this term at Cardabilites.  I always
have such a wonderful time on the team creating with Karan's amazing
sketches and meeting all the talented girls around the world each time!
But i can always try again so maybe after things settle down in
my life i can try for another term :) And i can always join in the sketch right...

So here is my card that i created for the sketch this time...

I am really into using lots of bright colors for summer so i just got
a brand new Bazzill 6x6 pad and it was perfect to use for the sketch.
I didn't use a circle but I put the shapes in the same areas and only used
one large flower and a ribbon.  I really love this paper and i like
the way the card came out :)

* and here is the sketch that we used for our inspiration

Thank you for stopping and don't forget to leave a comment
so i can come and visit you on your blog!!  Have a great day :)

Another Wedding page

Today i am sharing 2 more pages with pictures of Kendall's wedding.
The first page is the bridesmaids with my beautiful niece in the center
and the second is the all of them.  I could not for the life of me get good
color on these.. it's really sunny and hot here in So Cal but the colors
look good with the girls and i tried to bring the garden wedding feel
into it by adding the piece of lattice with the Spellbinders die and doing
a few frames in the back like a photo booth.  I tried to make it simple
and use some of the same papers for both to keep the theme.

The papers are all from My Minds Eye and all the dies are from
Spellbinders. Even the letters on it, which is such a neat thing to have
because i can do whatever color i want.  Don't they all look so pretty!!

This is Kendall and her new husband and the bridesmaids.  They
all work for Disney so they got married in Florida in a really beautiful
garden and the day came out just perfect!!  Time to get these into the
frames I bought and over to my niece now.  I am still making her a book
for lots of the other pictures so that's all for today.  I need to shop for some
more papers to finish it up.  Thanks for stopping by :)

Vintage Wedding Page

It's been along time since i have done a page and i promised my niece
awhile back that i would do some of the photos of the wedding that she
was in with her best friend growing up.  And today is finally the first one.

This is my nieces best friend Kendall with one of the photos taken
on the day she got married last fall.  I love the timeless beauty of the
way she is sitting on the old vintage couch and i wanted to capture a little
of that with the way i did the page.  Spellbinders released some beautiful
bezels and dies with A Gilded Life and I used the Vintage Damask to start
my border in the peachy pink.  Over that i layered one of the
Architectural Accents in ivory on both side.  Then I cut a huge circle
with the Grand Decorative Circles and put that over 2 heart doilies.
To make the couch pop i cut the large frame from the new
Reflective Moment die and put that under the photo i matted.

Here is a closeup of all the flowers that i did with Bitty Blossoms
and the Jewel Flower and Flourishes die sets.  A few pearls
and some chunky glitter on the roses was the perfect touch to
make it glisten like her dress.

My niece hashtags everything so i added a few that she had given me and
the title that says "this is my Day" and i did that in black to go with the other little
details i did on the page.  I am going to put it in a frame so she can
send it to Kendall or maybe she might even keep it but i have more to add
so be sure and stop back this week to see more.

Have a wonderful day ... Teresa

RRR Challenge*** Anything with Wings

This was such a fun RRR challenge to do this time and since i love doing
projects with butterflies and they have wings- this was super easy to do.

I had this Hero Arts stamp set that i had used in one of my classes
this last month and thought that it would be perfect to make up
this fun card to give out for a birthday.  I used papers from Glitz
that already had the bleeding colors and i thought it would be great
to add a little texture to it too.  The butterflies are embossed with black
and are colored with Copic markers to match.  The twine is from RRR.

For both of my sets of tags i used some premade bases
that i picked up at my local hobby store and then added
lots of embellishments to decorate them.  It was super
fun and easy to do and it gave me a chance to use some
of the leftover papers that i had and lots of ribbons
and flowers of course :)

The flowers that i used are WOC roses in pink, lt. blue and ivory and of
course i used lots of bias ribbon, satin and the krinkle ribbons.

The challenge link is here on the blog and we would love to see what
you can do and you can win lots of beautiful ribbons and things
so why not right? Thanks for stopping and be sure and check out the other
projects up on the RRR challenge blog today. They are really gorgeous!!

Cardabilites #103 is up today....

Today is the 15th of July so it's time again for another new sketch
from Karan at Cardabilites!  It's a really cute one and i had lots of fun
with making this card.  I picked a back round paper that already had
some of the design in it so all i had to do was layer it a little more
and add some paint and little details to it.

The flowers are one of my favorite dies from Spellbinders
and the back round layers are a label die from them too!

The stamp is from Verve stamps and the papers are from
Bo Bunny.  Hope you like it and don't forget to join us and
create something from the sketch and post it on the blog!

Have a really wonderful day... Teresa

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog hop for July

Hi Everyone and welcome to our blog hop for July!!
This month we are sharing some fantastic ideas for summer
projects that you can do with our beautiful set of summer ribbon club
ribbons.  The colors are just scrumptous and it was really fun
to create my projects to share with you with them.

So you should have arrived from Bonnies blog and I
hope that you have gotten some great inspiration from the
other gals so far today......

Today i am sharing fun ways to decorate treat bags and
boxes with the ribbons from the summer set.

I love to bake all kinds of things and give it away to family and
co workers so first up i decorated this bag with stamped images
from Justrite stamps and used the silver edged satin ribbon to
tie a really pretty bow on the side.

The bags i did with the polka dot kraft ones that you can
get online here.  There is lots of them and you can top them
in lots of different ways and ties lots of pretty ribbons on them!!

Next up you will be going to Cherry's blog and i hope that
you all have fun and be sure and leave a comment to let
me know what you think...

LOTV challenge

Hi Everyone today i am posting a quick card that i made
to join in for the LOTV challenge up this month.  I am hoping
to get a few more up but today i had this image done and
colored from my vacation so i thought i would share it.

I had had already done the image in purples so i found some
cute paper to match and some flowers from my stash for it.
And of course i had to frame it with a Spellbinders die from
my stash...(Labels Thirty four and Classic ovals large) for the sentiment.

I used chalk and colored pencils for my image... it seems to travel
better with me and i can do them on the plane too.  The flowers are
from RRR  online store and i used just a touch of diamond stickles to
make her glitter just a little bit.  You can see all the other fairy stamps here...

Thanks for stopping over and hope you have a great week!!

Butterbee Scraps Charms

You probably know already that i love the charm sets that you
can get from Butterbee.  You always get such a good selection
for such a good price so i had to use another set today for my post.

This was such a quick and easy card to make.  I think
that i am going to do a whole set of these for gifty tags
later this week.  I used a butterfly charm for the front
to finish the card and the frame is from Spellbinders
and is called Fancy Labels Tags 2 and the chipboard
tag that says love this is from MME.

For this one i only cut and embossed the center
design of one of my favorite doilies from Spellbinders.
Talk about how quick and easy this was.  I stamped
a quick sentiment from Verve and added a rose and
a super cute dragonfly from the set.  I put out some
of the other ones that you can get to for you to see.

And lastly today i made a simple necklace just
putting on some of the charms by added jump rings.
Not everything has to be hard and the fun thing is
you can change the charms up if you want to.

For this project and for the cards- i used J610-S,
Heart lock and Keys, CH930-P , Flutterby Charm Set

Thanks so much for stopping over and seeing what is new!!

Hugs and Smiles, Teresa
