Today we have a fun challenge up on the RRR Blog using our new
ribbons for this month with lots of purples and greens. It's been really
fun so far and since i am part Irish i really love this time of year, it reminds
me of my grandmother and i was so lucky to have her.
Today i have 4 cards to share and here is my first one.
This one i made as a pocket card and used the new Authentique irish
papers for it. I cut apart the shamrocks and the tags and layered them
on the front with a Spellbinders die in green and then tied a cute bow
with the green Swirl Satin ribbon and the green tiny sheer mini dot.
And my purple is a tiny flower from the WOC Gardenia's.
And then i just got carried away because i love these colors and i made
the hello card and a celtic banner card and that cute little note at the bottom.
The note card came with the design on the top so i cut a piece of purple to
put under it and then added a G45 Tag and some seam binding ribbon to it.
I am going to do a bunch of these for sets maybe to give away. I really like it.
This one was really fun to make.
There is a really neat set of Celtic dies from Spellbinders and they
have the most beautiful patterns in them. I used pretty papers from
Graphic 45 to make this and the Hello card and lots of ivory card
stock to cut out the designs. Oh and the banner is a new die from
A Gilded Life called Baby Buntings. I can tell already it's going to
be one of my favorites...
And lastly this card i did with another new Spellbinders die in ivory
called Heirloom oval and is part of the new Victorian dies being released.
I used some of my favorite RRR Seam Binding ribbon in a matching
purple and tied it with burlap string in parrot green and a pretty flower
from the WOC Gardenia's set. It was super easy to make.
Thanks for stopping over to see my ideas for the challenge and be sure
and create something to share with us too. You will love it.
Have a really wonderful day...Teresa
