Today i am sharing another one of the brand new dies just released by Becca Feeken and Spellbinders called Exquisite Topper. I wanted to do something really different for this card so i cut the layers in different colors of cardstock and then glued them over the top of each other to make a waterfall of lace. And to keep the waterfall going but not distract from it i added an ivory one at the bottom.
You can see all the beautiful detail in this die and how fun it is to use as a cut out and also mix the colors. You all know aqua is one of my favorites so i guess that is why i love this so much.
Here is a picture of the die. If you had the chance to hop with us on the blog hop this month you would have seen lots of fun ideas to use this die. It's really gorgeous and the detailing is just amazing.
To close my card i made a slide on ribbon closure with a sentiment in the center. The sentiment is from Penny Black and fits this card perfect!! Can't wait to mail it out.
Thank you so much for stopping by today and have a wonderful rest of the week.
Teresa

ReplyDeleteI'm just imagining what it would be like to open an envelope and find this beauty. Oh, Teresa, to be on your mailing list, sigh... What a great idea - a waterfall of lace. Your waterfall with the variety of colors captured the lacy details perfectly. Love it!
