Wow it's hard to believe that it is Sept already but for me that's good
because it means the hot weather is over and the
cool brisk days of fall are coming. Sooo happy about that :)

I was out shopping in my local crafty store and found these really
cute fall cookie cutters and this adorable owl sticker so i thought i would
design a pizza box so that i could put them inside to give with either
brownies or fudge in them wrapped up.
So how do you make your own box you ask?
Well to customize your own box- lay what you want on a blank piece
of paper and measure the size and then add on the height that you want
to the sides and the back. I picked just 1 1/2 inches high for mine
and it ended up only using one piece of 12/12 with a small piece added
to the bottom for the flap. If you google pizza boxes you can find lots
of patterns online to get you started and then you can create from there.
For my project i used these ribbons:
Orange check ribbon, Burlap string in Parrot, and the really cute
green polka dot sheer ribbon too. The papers are from Doodlebug
and Bo Bunny dots and the Spellbinders die is one of my favorite
called Grand Decorative Circles One. The little Thank you tag is also
from Doodlebug and you might see a few more things with that one later.
Thanks so much for visiting us and be sure and check out all the other
teams designs for the challenge and enter one of your own to win some
of the gorgeous ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbons!!
Love the box Teresa, but it would translate just as well with a card, so it's almost a twofer! Super colours, great image, and pretty embellishments!
ReplyDeleteThis is just fabulous! Love all the natural elements you added to those gorgeous flowers and bows...and I love owls!
ReplyDeleteI first of all thought this was a fabulous card, but it's an equally fabulous box!!! Love it! Hugs Carole Z xx
