Victorian Card Class

I taught such a fun class Sat. with the ladies and
they got to make lots of Spellbinders Victorian cards with lots of
lace and pearls and bits of ribbons too.  We made 5 in our class
and their favorites were the black and white card and the tea card...
and they just happened to be my favorites too :)

For this card we used the Grand Deco Ovals smallest piece
to make the backround and we made some flowers with
Carnation Creations out of white card stock and pearls.  And I used
a small oval die Beaded Ovals for the sentiment and
finally the dress form in black Bazzill from
the dies I used on my Paris card the other day (French Frills).
I love the simplicity of this card because you
could really do any sentiment for it for any occasion....

Since I love afternoon Tea and coffee this is also one of my
favorites of the bunch.  I used Darsie's tea stamp set
and to make the tea cup and stamped it with Archival ink in brown
and used lots of foam dots to pop it up.  The dies are from
Spellbinders Antique Frames and Accents and
I think my favorite part is the steam and for this i used a swirl piece
from the new Jewels Flowers and Flourishes Die set and added Stickles
to make it shine a little. I should have made the flower but we
were pressed for time and just used a ready made one with a bit of netting.
Still love it though and the colors are so pretty and fall looking.

The papers on this card are from Bella and I used only
one piece of paper and one die for it (Decorative Labels Eight).
The paper has a beautiful side on front and back so I used it for the
back round and for the pop ups on the front.  The flowers are from Prima
and the little foliage is from Spellbinders Foliage1.  I love
netting and used it to tie bows and add little bits of
it with the lace and flowers and I love the feminine feel it
gives to all the cards.

Lastly we had to use Bitty Blossoms to make a few roses
for a card and the ladies had lots of fun with this new
Summer release die Decorative Labels Twenty-Seven
that we cut in Bo Bunny dot and layered on a pretty piece of Graphic 45.
The lace is from my stash when I used to go to the Jessica McClintock
warehouse along time ago and it worked perfect for this card.
I could really use some more sentiment stamps and I think that
we are going to order some more in for the store soon
so that will be great for us!

Thanks so much for stopping over and I hope that
I have lots of ideas to inspire you today with some
of the New Dies out from Spellbinders.

Hugs and Smiles :)
