A Very Merry Christmas

Today i have a really special post to share that i did for a very special friend and neighbor that is moving away this month.  I wanted to make something very bright and cheerful and let her know that i will always remember her during the holidays and all the days hereafter and i think i did it.

For my card I used lots of Becca's new dies to layer a pretty vintage Christmas card.  My inspiration came from that beautiful piece of red metallic paper i found in my stash and as i layered i added a touch of glitter and a bit of glistening ivory paper too.  As always it was really fun to make!!

For this this card i really wanted to bring out all the textures so i added a layer of embossing on the paper too that just slightly peeks out on the edges.  It's always so neat to see how incredible all the dies go together.  Everything on this card is a die so it was nice to be able to make it all match... even the poinsettia's.

And just in case you need a supply list...

Spellbinders Hannah Elise Layering Frame Small Etched Die
Spellbinders Nestabilities Breanna's Corset Label Etched Die
Spellbinders Poinsettia Etched Die

Papers: Ivory cardstock, red glitter paper, red metallic paper
Ink: Red archival ink with Stampendous red glitter embossing powder

Enjoy the holiday weekend and see you next week for more Becca Feeken die inspiration!

  2. Hi, Teresa,
You succeeded beautifully! Red is my favorite color so your card is like eye-candy to me. This card has so many great elements: texture, color, shape, sparkle and lovely sentiment/font. Thank you for sharing!
