Card Club for February

Hi Everyone,

It's time again for my Card Club for Feb and this month
we are using lots of new stamps from Stampendous
and their Frantage glitters and embossing powders
and are they ever fun to use.  I love glitter and glittery things
so this should be a fun class to do and teach for me :)

This is my favorite card to do only because
I used lots of inks to do the backrounds and used
some of the aged embossing powders to glitter up
the front of the card.. I love really old things and
the purples on this were so pretty!  This idea is from
the catalog but I put my own colors and spin on it ...
It would be great for a dinner invite i think :)

This is all the cards that we are doing and even though
the layout idea is simple I used them in different ways
with ribbons and ties and cutting things out to change
them up each in their own ways...

This is a close up of the corset stamp.  I stamped it
in black and embossed in clear and cut around the
edges so that I could pop it up.  Where the flowers
are I added bits of glitter and the mica chips to make it
glisten a little more.  The backround is also a new stamp
and I used the taupe aged embossing powder on it.

This is my last favorite card because being
from California I actually have some of these
antique labels and it was fun to do a woody
kind of shabby card using chalks and colored
pencils for the stamps.  You can't see it but
I put glossy accents on the orange itself to make
it look more juicy!  It's fun just to play sometimes!

Thanks for stopping by and hopefully I can take
a few photos of the ladies and share what they did
for all of you.  Have a great Thursday!
Teresa

  3. Oh Teresa, I absolutely ADORE that purple grape card! Did you add the background colors by stippling or sponging? What are the little specks scattered, is that the embossing powders that you mentioned? I can't say that I ever considered adding EP to a project like that. My DH and I have been to many wineries, those images would made great scrapbook pages too.
