How exciting is this!!! It was my first trip to

the beautiful city of Chicago and not

my last for sure!!

The CHA show was fantastic and we had time to take the train

downtown to Navy Pier and see the lake and all the wonderful

things going on in the city. We were really lucky too because the

weather was just gorgeous and the wind in the windy

city was just perfect :)

This is Pei in the middle of one of the shopping

areas on the pier. It was really fun!!!

There are lots of people out all the time

even until really late at night which was perfect for us!!

This is one of the theaters off of Clark St. A couple of blocks

away they were filming parts of the sequel to Transformers.

We didn't get to see them but we saw where they were and

that was exciting enough just to be there by the river.

Our booth at the show was GREAT! Our theme was

Card Purses and I had a blast!!!! :)

I met some of the nicest people in the world

and had so much fun doing the make and take projects with them.

It was really sad that I ran out and that the

show had to end :--

I will start putting the samples up tomorrow

but I have to catch up with my family,

it has been a really busy week.

Only 5 days till CHA.....

Where have I been you are probably wondering?

We are busy getting ready for all the things in our booth

at CHA (Best Creation) and it's going to be really, really fun!

I am so excited to go to Chicago and we are headed

for some real Chicago style pizza first chance we get :)

Here is a couple of layouts I did, I can't show the rest yet!!

But I will pretty soon....

I love my photo shop program, it was so worth the money.

It is fun to edit and change things to get the

perfect picture. This was at Cal Poly's Harvest Festival in Oct.

There are sunflowers everywhere and I went in early before

sunset one day and no one was there yet and

got some really good pictures.

It is my very favorite time of the year!!!

Happy 4th of July!

If you think about it yesterday was an amazing day in history. Because of all those before us- our country has some pretty amazing freedoms. We are so very blessed and we should hold that freedom as something very precious! All day I was reminded of such things both in church, with family and friends and with all those watching the fireworks on Doheney Beach with the patriotic music blaring in the backround. It was beautiful with all the fireworks going off and all the people that come out to watch. It was an absolutely- wonderful -day!!!

Thankful to be American

The 4th of July is almost here and the anticipation of beach picnics and water and really beautiful fireworks are almost here too. I love going to Doheney Beach on the 4th and spending the day with family and friends, there isn't anything better. ( Besides traveling to Europe :) whoops did I say that? Anyway- it should be really, really fun!!!!
I am posting 2 new layouts for Best Creation that I did for the CHA show coming up at the end of this month. It was fun to dig out some great pictures and reminisce over the fun times we had when my kids were smaller and hanging out with their friends. We had the best of times!! There is lots of new things happening and the buzz of new products coming so I will post more as the month goes on. Happy Thursday!! T.
